What is the advantage of having two duplicators? Just wondering.  Doesn't one duplicate any item you have equipped? Haven't gotten one yet, but I always notice on videos that people have two equipped. Just wanted to know what that does.

@Balthazzarr Equipping the Duplicator lowers Alucard's stats, so equipping two will lower them even more. The idea here is to power up the Muramasa by drawing as much blood as possible. Equipping two duplicators lowers INT as far as it can go, making the knives weaker. This way it takes longer to kill each octopus, so more blood is absorbed and the Muramasa levels up faster.

I've heard there's a glitch in SotN where you can start a new game with all of your Muramasa upgrades present from another save file. What I want to know is this possible to do in the PSP version of the game. I'm not sure what's the soft-reset for the PSP SotN is.

He is using the daggers but has the muramasa equipped. The daggers sub weapon with really low intellect cause them to do lower damage. If you spam them doing low damage, lots of blood gets shed, thus making marumasa stronger

He also needs it to lower his stats so whenever he throws the daggers, he doesn't do much damage, causing him to need to use more to kill. Thus making him draw more blood for the Muramasa

The money glitch doesn't work on the PSP version... :( Just after you did the Sword Brothers spell, when you go talk to the librarian the game is freezing a bit. Maybe Konami fixed this one.

I wonder if any other "regular" glitches are working on this version anyway... Or maybe there are some new ones ; well, I don't know.

so let me get this straight...you just attack with daggers WHILE muramasa is equipped and the muramasa will level up? I thought you needed to strike enemies with the muramasa itself to make it get stronger. Each "blood drop", or everytime a dagger hits (doesn't kill the enemies) counts as "one exp" for the muramasa? Or do you need to actually kill the enemy to get that blood count that increases the muramasa by one "blood count" ?

That's not the only thing. You can upgrade your Alucard (AND Richter) to 9999 HP and 9999 hearts (heart upgrade is Alucard-only) without cheating. Just search for "SotN infinity glitch".

The upwards punch is down up jump, like the gravity boots on alucard. Hold down and jump to make a slide and quick again jump for a ''High jump slide'' where you are invulnerable.

Muramasa is a drop.. I can't tell right now who does drop it.

Well, I'm guessing this guy used cheats, since 148,837 kills wouldn't get you anywhere near level 99. The Guardian gives the most exp of any normal enemy in the game, and after level 76 it only gives 1 exp. It would take 417,999 kills of any enemy to get from level 77 to 99. Also, did you notice how he had 46 Duplicators? At 500,000Gold a piece, I sincerely doubt he purchased all of them legitimitely.

Oh - but I wouldn't mind taking my time leveling up my Muramasa. It's fuuuuuuuuun! :D Besides... the effects change depending on its strength. If you deal 10 or less damage with Muramasa, it won't work well, just as Red Rust... when reaching 30+ damage - Then its special effects start slowly to show up. And increase depending on how much damage you deal. Tried it out using X-X!V''Q cheat and got Muramasa VEEERY early in the Clock Tower. Thanks to the Wolf relic! :D LOL

I think you'll fix it. :) Just follow the glitch instroctuions and you'll make it. Takes a little practice though. Also - to do the infinity glitch, you will have to have a castle coverage of beyond 200.6% - there are many tricks for that. Just look for it. :) Best wishes and good hunting!

the bat move is called wingsmash and its a spell, i dont quite remember if you find it or buy it but you do it by pressing up, backwards up , back, backwards down , down, forward down and forward, all while holding the jump button and then releasing the jump button
