i found two of those subs in my dads closet and i hooked one up in my car and it sounds better than my kicker, im running a crunch p1400.2 and 4 6x9s with a crunch p900.4
No... the cheap VR3 subs (not in this vid) don't like this box.
The pale copper colored sub in this vid, is currently in the 4 cu. ft. box. 4 cubes is just right for this sub! I'm getting insane house flex off of 90 watts... and my receiver is only stable to 8 ohms and the sub is 4 ohms, so if I had a better receiver... I can't even fathom what this sub would do to the house if I had a better amp. It's a lot louder than the Cerwin's.
It's just a swapmeet, you know, a flea market : ). Just Google or ask people you know for a nearby flea market. It depends on where you live if people are willing to give up their stuff for cheap, but without a doubt, after a lot of looking you'll find something very, very reasonable.
Believe me, swapmeets are a LOT cheaper than ANY second hand store : ).
If you look, the dustcap has a white line on the Rockwood... the dustcap has two small punctures and a fairly well fixed large gash into the dustcap.
Unfortunately, 18's and even 15's are VERY rare at flea markets, and if you can find one, it's probably in the hands of someone who knows their audio and won't give it up for super cheap.
But I need video with good lighting, which means mom's gone and the sun's still up.

Really bro, this thing hits hard for the power I'm giving it. It goes really low, down to 25 Hz in a big room.

Actually, the guy who gave me the Thump sub just wanted it gone so he said $5, my mom only had $2 in her pocket so he said $1 : ).
