Here in Germany we are protected from large bits of the Lisbon Treaty/Constitution....you are not !
Voting YES will not bring you any gain and voting NO will bring you no loss.
"Germany's Constitutional Court forced the government to approve new laws to repair the damage the Treaty did to national democracy. Since the Irish have not taken similar measures, the Irish people should vote NO to the Treaty on democratic grounds" (Prof.Murswiek,University of Freiburg).
NO SIDE: Shinners, Ganley, Socialists, Coir, Eirigi, UKIP, Le Pen, BNP.
YES SIDE: all international chambers of commerce, most independent economists, 3 main political parties, IFA, IBEC, SIPTU, ICTU, most major trade unions, Pfizer, Ryanair, Intel, Microsoft.
Sinn Féín, is it possible you can step in and save the votes from being rigged? Cowen has mentioned how we "will" bring a yes to Europe. Looking at all the comments on you tube its obvious to see we will be voting no again, but something is not right when Cowen says we "will". I hope you guys read this and thank you for all your hard work. NO to Lisbon.
'Looking at all the comments on you tube its obvious to see we will be voting no again, but something is not right when Cowen says we "will". '
What's not right is your thinking . SF get at most 8% of the vote in the Irish Republic . You tube attracts the right and left wing nut jobs . The EU has been better for Ireland -all of Ireland than SF and their shadowy collaborators Libertas and assorted French and Austrian Neo nazis not to mention the ultra catholic backward Coir
Your a true patriot, calling your own people nut jobs?
If it wasn't for SF we would still be under Englands thumb.
Thats all you have to say, EU "has" been, did you see what you just wrote? "has". Look all around you, the state of the the place, no jobs and full of refugees and foreigners.
The recent poll is at 59% NO vote, this comes from the same source that predicted the last NO vote, all the other sources were wrong.
'If it wasn't for SF we would still be under Englands thumb.
That was in 1918 . It's 2009 last time I checked .
'Your a true patriot, calling your own people nut jobs? '
There are nut jobs everywhere -Ireland is no exception. In the UK they have UKIP & British National Front -In the USA they have the Fundies of the GOP and in North Korea they have the world's first communist monarchy !
WIse up . It'll be a YES vote by a margin of 2 to 1 or more !
You got your answer from the Irish people .You know where to stick your Gael Poll now eh !
Polls are not Elections . SF made a big mistake in supporting the right wing extremists of Libertas and the 'nutty'backward ultra catholics of Coir and British Conservative little englanders .
The Irish people have had enough of that crap . We look forward to seeing Britian join the Eurozone , and Iceland and the eastern european applicants .
In spite of signing up to a Human Rights Convention which declares that all nations who signed up to it must have a LAW IN PLACE TO PROTECT LIFE.. Ireland does NOT abide by that law!
Dangerous work practices which would not be tolerated on building sites are carried out regularly on the man streets of our towns. LEGALLY!!!
The Lisbon Treaty (article 33,paragraph 6) grants the EU EXECUTIVE THE LEGAL RIGHT to CHANGE or ABOLISH : ALL rules/regulations/laws present in EXISTING TREATIES relating to ;TAX ; ECONOMY ; CIVIL SOCIETY ;TRADE;currency ;transport;consumer rights;environment etc.
« This is a dictatorial constitution » (Prof. Schachttschneider, University of Erlangen-Nürnberg).
The correct analysis of the No vote is that of the UK Independence Party. It weakens the EU and furthers their aim of re-establishing the strong nation states.
And what a bonus that the blow was struck by Ireland.A nation that spent centuries trying to break the overbearing influence of its nearest neighbour.
What better place for the culture of a small nation to thrive than amongst 27 where no culture can dominate.
Sinn Fein has forgotten all about safeguarding Irish culture. What a pity.
The truth is that even now Robert Mugabe has a greater democratic legitimacy than the EU. Mugabe has been elected often in the past though now his mandate has run out - The EU Commission has NEVER been elected & the peoples of France, Holland & Ireland have VOTED NO to the new constitution/Lisbon Treaty threatening the snouts of the politicians and parasites with losing their troughs on the gravy train. The corrupt central State is determined, like Mugabe, to force new votes for personal gain!
vicmac64 They should remember that the ONLY thing that mankind has consistently been prepared to die & kill for is Liberty.
Quitters never win & Winners never quit.
Losers find excuses but Winners find solutions.
Ireland is leading the way but Britain will be happy to follow as the centralised, corrupt, self serving political behemoth collapses crushing the politicians, parasites, apparatchiks & lobbyists under it. Already the EU is dying but it will take time to realise - There IS HOPE
Hopefully US voters will display similar wisdom in their November election of a new president. Sadly however, the choice of candidates has been terribly sabotaged thru corruption and treason and the election will be limited to seeking the candidate that will do the least damage nationwide AND worldwide.
Congratulations Ireland. You have prevailed over the propaganda barrage AND the vote fraud that was undoubtedly engineered by the US state dept. You have struck a mighty blow against the EU, NATO and Bush State Dept "Hitlerites" who are busy "nazifying" Eastern Europe thru their Bosnian and Albanian islamo proxies as we speak. One need only look at the crime syndicates being established as illigitimate states by these "toadies" in Kosovo and Bosnia to understand their "game plan".
Congratulations Ireland on your "NO" vote on June 12. It restores my faith in human nature and the democratic process to see this vote in favor of national sovereignty and freedom prevailing over what must have been a desparate propaganda "bombardment" by the US state dept, EU and NATO toadies for months leading up to this vote. You have prevailed over the propaganda barrage AND the vote fraud that was undoubtedly engineered by the US state dept.

Its not that simple cornelstown. If Lisbon is approved, to leave the EU requires a 'leaving treaty' and the process will take atleast 2 years. Not only that, but the EU can change the rules at ANY time, at their sole discretion.
A tip to those who posted this video, post it in the Irish section of youtube, it will still show up in the global youtube I think. I guess that many people from Ireland look into the Irish part of youtube, also you would get more spots at toplists and so on.

2 to 1? where you getting that from? I'd bet its the same sources that predicted a yes the last time and they were proven wrong.
The Gael poll that was accurate to within 0.5% in 2008 puts the No vote at 59%, contradicting the result of the less extensive Red C poll.
59% NO VOTE.
Open your eyes on this, Irish forums and on the street, No's everywhere.
SF are the only true republican who stick with Ireland, all the other parties are Europes bitches.

i'm calling on all anti-lisbon (pro-europe) groups throughout the world.
Please visit Ireland en-masse in the run up to the referendum and show the people of Ireland
that you support a NO vote. Wear a T-shirt, hold a banner, wave a plackard.
Do the right thing. Remember, the irish lose out whichever way it goes. Posting messages of support for NO on YouTube is not
enough. Don't leave it all on our shoulders.

What's next, anything is possible..a ban on bacon,a ban on cycling without a helmet,a ban on smoking outdoors,a ban on blogging ?
Also mentioned was the un.elected commission's fear that they will lose credibility if talks with Turkey don't continue "unhindered".

When the EU army is up and running and Turkey have joined the EU...the EU's military will be bigger than that of the USA !
By then,Russia,Syria and Iran will be on the EU's borders.
I am sure that the (un-elected) EU President and Council will then tell us which country our children should die in.
