The next day in the shop our customer from Detriot who had been to the seventh game was visiting and said when it was over. Crosby shook Detroit's hands, he just came to the line a little late. I have this game recorded on DVR and at the end there is clear footage of crosby going through the line shaking hands. The only person on Detroit who whined about it was Draper. Lidstrom didn't seem to care too much about it based on his post game comments.

Have been a Wings fan since I started watching hockey in 1989. These last 2 years have been great Finals to watch. Got to hand it to the Pens, winning the last 4 of 5. Then winning the last one capitalizing on mistakes by the Red Wings. The Pens wanted it more this year. The Wings didn't play bad, just not hard enough long enough. This was the toughest of the 3 cups the Penguins have won for themselves. Congrats.

I live a hundred miles to the north of Pittsburgh and was able to get off work to see the parade, SPECTACULAR!! The next day in the shop our customer from Detriot who had been to the seventh game was visiting and said when it was over. He and the rest of the Detroit fans had a look on their face like they wanted to hang themselves

And if you looked at our message boards you'd see fans of all teams telling us so and that they prefer our boards to our own because we are classy, respectful, and polite. You must not know too much about hockey, as you'd know Detroit is often called the class of the league.

Are you serious? Every message board I viewed and participated in during the Finals involved wings fans either 1) saying the Pens weren't as good as Anaheim, 2) the wings would easily win this series in no more than 5; 3) bitchin about the refs and other ridiculous stuff whenever the wings lost a game, and 4) I witnessed wings fans booing the Pens as they hoisted the cup...and I'll remind you that did NOT happen in Pittsburgh last year when the wings won. To say wings fans are classy is a joke

Crosby shook Detroit's hands, he just came to the line a little late. I have this game recorded on DVR and at the end there is clear footage of crosby going through the line shaking hands. The only person on Detroit who whined about it was Draper. Lidstrom didn't seem to care too much about it based on his post game comments.

the thing i love about mike lange, is that unlike so many regional radio and tv broadcasters, he doesnt absolutely lose it, freak out, and start screaming when the clock hits zero and the pens have won the cup. he stays classy the whole time.

Have been a Wings fan since I started watching hockey in 1989. These last 2 years have been great Finals to watch. Got to hand it to the Pens, winning the last 4 of 5. Then winning the last one capitalizing on mistakes by the Red Wings. The Pens wanted it more this year. The Wings didn't play bad, just not hard enough long enough. This was the toughest of the 3 cups the Penguins have won for themselves. Congrats.

Lets keep the commentary respectful everyone. Detroit is a great team and played a great series. But the Pens outplayed them and won the season series 5 games to 4 (including regular season). Both teams are deserving of respect. As a Pens fan, I hope this is the beginning of our dynasty! But nothing is guaranteed. GO PENGUINS!

the wings are a really good team, id even say that they are better than the pens but still dit year the wings made so many little mistakes so the pens used this as an advantage to win the cup. the 2 team did a really good job but u cant cut the cup in two so we need a winner. So im really happy dat the pens won because i was with them from the beginning. BTW finally crosby shaved himself! looks sexier shaved XD. Nice video MrScottBrown.

I was in Detroit during Game 5 and while I got a little lighthearted taunting for wearing my Crosby jersey, mostly all of them were great. A few even bought me drinks.
