It is great to see Senna pulling away from the rest of the field, with more than 3 seconds ahead of Prost after first lap. But why is Johnny Herbert in Benetton overall, he drove for Tyrrell at Spa? He was still hobbling from the heavy crash he suffered at Brands Hatch in F3000 a year before.
Balestre= cunt. You can see how little he thinks of Senna by his refusal to acknowledge him on the podium. Is it any wonder he stripped Ayrton of the title 2 months later?
Any race is hard if you want to beat Alain. You have to drive to your maximum efficiency in such a situation and, while I think today's race was easier than in Hungary, it was still hard work. The car's handling deteriorated because of the oil on the circuit, and I had to keep it consistent. Although I have to carry on the way I have been doing, I must agree that Alain is in a difficult position now for the drivers' world championship. Arton Senna, no doubt the King of Rain and the best one.
