I see it as an idea. Imagine getting a crawling spider-bot for Christmas? Blender (or whatever else you used I have no idea) is used for making things like this become real, not just an insane crawling robot. build on this, and it could be REALLY cool.

I don't see why people care that it has only 6 legs. If we built a machine like that it would almost certainly have a nickname similar to "spider" regardless of 6 or 8 legs. Hell it might still even if it only had 4 legs, so long as it still had that same spider-like style to it.

I love the polished and futuristic feel it has to it - it's great !

If you looked at it from a real life miiltary viewpoint however, things are not so good. Biggest problem is that the guns are not very stable, which will ruin their precision. The guns cannot be rotated without shooting off the legs, and the underside and the legs are exposed to landmine damage, as opposed to armored against such damage.

Offcourse, the real world has nothing to do with this, so carry on my good man. :)

Still wouldn't be a good platform ... too unstable.

Most likely, a "spider robot" would have a turret like a tank, if one is ever made.

That way it could easily and quickly cover at 360 degree firing angle, plus it would no longer shoot it's own legs anymore. XD

Maybe a little turret that is sunk into the bag, so that when it's about to go in combat, the turret could be raised up on some hydraulic or somesuch ... that would be cool. :)
