2002 Kia Sedona already had motor replaced 4 years ago and transmission replaced last year . Front heat and all air stopped 2 years ago and now the pump seized breaking the belt. Now I have to replace the pump before replacing the belt. My wife always washed and waxed it but the body is rotting like crazy as well. Not the best van I owned.
i have the kia sedona 2.9 CRDI SE 2003 53 Plate and its the best car i have ever owned it moves, can fit all me bikes in the back, my mum has the same car, i love it tinted windows side step front bar, tv in the back. i wouldnt change it for the world
My friend's mom has a 2003 Kia Sedona EX that she uses for work, and that we young kids drive occasionally. It is a nice van, but the air-conditioner does not work worth a damn.
We call it the "Shitdona".
It does have a great stereo though.
A former high school teacher of mine had either a 2001 or a 2002 Sedona with all the options. She said that the ride was incredibly harsh, and that, go figure, the A/C quit working on numerous occasions.
This is interesting to watch. I used to have an '02 Sedona EX. Though it never got in an accident and I can't ever see going head on into a concrete block, this shows it is reasonably safe.
if you look at it close enough you will see the wheel well didnt collapse and iihs says in exact words..Despite some buckling of the A-pillar and roof rail, the dummy's position in relation to the steering wheel and instrument panel after the crash test indicates the driver's survival space was maintained reasonably well. soo go fuck off
most accidents depend entirely on many factors when it comes to survival. Not all 40 mph crashes are survivable in any vehicle. Sedonas have improved their crash-worthiness and are now getting 5 star crash ratings. I own two Kias and they have been trouble-free vehicles and the best I've ever owned. At least I don't have to mortgage my house to buy one.
@Handiman544 Really?! What about the steering lock, the body roll that's worse than a 2cv. The turning circle of the damn thing. The only good thing about it is the torque of the diesel engine and the boot space ( the van-5 seater version).

but everywhere else in the world rovers are overpriced, slow and badly made, sorry. rovers are viable in england because the government charges import tariffs on anything that isnt british, so it makes sense to buy a rover.
Pre-2002 models had bad bumper crash tests because the airbag would deploy @ 5 mph LOL!
