you know what is pretty messed up about this is that its usually the other way around. My friend, who's a bit older than me, was at Shea Stadium in Queens NY when the Beatles played there and he said that the stench of piss was everywhere. All those screaming little girls were peeing themselves. That's the part of Beatlemania you don't ever hear too much about. lol

9090you: The Beatles DID get laid every day, and had to get syphilis shots regularly in Hamburg. Amazing band who took musical risks and will stay forever relevant. They were a much-needed phenomenon at the time, and I feel lucky to have been around for it.

What else did we have? Pat Boone? The Everly Brothers? Jan and Dean? There were a lot of great black artists, but DJs weren't allowed to play them and kids weren't allowed to listen to them.
