  • The verse is so Butthole Surfers.

  • Born 8 april 1996.. Haters gonna hate ^^

  • played there yesterday :)

  • Pedo Necro Crapa?

  • Why do they always cover the Marshall sign on the stacks?

  • @mtanyc I think that Kurt didn't like how every one in the 80's used Marshall so he covered up the name.

  • Awesome. This video is simply awesome.

  • brilliant

  • @vinnypimental no don't get me wrong lol I love this song I just meant what guitar is he playing : )

  • What is he playing?!

  • @ViewFanCampbell Fuck ya ok..

  • Chad is good live just not this time, since he screwed up a few times, but he is still great!

  • 1:46 did he say he's three years old?

  • Breed in '89? ;P

  • Thank you alot for uploading these videos they are great!

  • Did Kurt straighten his hair?

  • how the fuck did Nirvana made a european tour whitout money?

  • @PivotMakeranimations

SubPop (recored label) pays for it. Plus to travel around Europe is dirt cheap compared to traveling around the States.

  • The raw ultimate sound...nothin more.......fuck yeah

  • paja este man es un dios de rock joder...

  • I wish this cheap cover band would learn how to play Nirvana properly. :P

  • @HandofDoom01 uh...this is nirvana dude...

  • @HandofDoom01 uh...this is nirvana dude...just in case you're not joking :P

  • @Nowhere2Hide1000...Sigh, 1 day i'll get to go to a place where people actually have a sense of humor (waiting).

  • @HandofDoom01 No need to be a dick dude. He did say "just in case you're not joking"

  • @HandofDoom01 sound quality is bad, theres a video of this concert in better quality

  • @PivotMakeranimations...Yeah, i'm just messing around. Kurt was notorious for having good gigs & bad gigs. This one...So-So.

  • @HandofDoom01

Are you f**king mad!? Kapu was one of his best.

  • @brightlights456X...I am. It wasn't.

  • @HandofDoom01

Which would you say was better then?......Reading:/

This is one of the best gigs to hear the Bleach album.

  • @brightlights456X...I like the Rhino Records gig if we're talking about the Bleach era. Most of thier problems Live at that time came from playing through cheap equipment. I don't think Kurt ever owned a 'nice' guitar until close to the end.

  • @HandofDoom01

Oooh yeah, I forgot about Rhino Records. However, the reson I'd rather Kapu is that Kurt did sing Sappy in it and did not at Rhino.

As for the guitars being cheap, does it REALLY make that big a difference?

  • @brightlights456X...Unfortunately it does. Cheap guitars will not stay in tune very well no matter what you do. This can lead to some weird sounding notes Live. Anyway, Kurt was a great songwriter but he wasn't that great as a guitar player (technically).

  • @brightlights456X The guitar he's using isn't cheap, but it isn't very nice. the amp he's using is very nice. the distortion pedal, cheap as fuck.

  • subi el video de vuelta q esta bueno

    (Y)

  • a early song as we know as breed of nevermind... who thought it would be a great song of a immortal album... it rocks

  • OMG! i missssss

  • Nirvana on tour with Tad! :)

  • Kurt after a shower? sweet. showers are nice. They make you feel like you are still in the game. Take a shower and shut your mouth.

  • por lejos el mejor recital de nirvana ! este es el grunge del alma

  • This song is called ''Pedal Necro Craba'' ? lol What did he say ? XD

  • his guitar is half broken.... the body is at least.

  • what is that fender amp that kurt is using

  • @MegaFenderstrat looks like a twin reverb

  • WHY?WHY WAS I BORN IN 1993?!!!!!

  • @ISISISISISISISISI i feel u man, iwas born 94 totally sux

  • @frankwhite432 woman please:P

  • @ISISISISISISISISI same here dude

  • @dumbasshit123 not dude,dude:p

  • @ISISISISISISISISI i was born 96 the year he died. its horrible and now justin bieber says hes the kurdt of the generation. fuck that little 5,5 fag

  • @MrGreenRockk he died in april 94 but that's not the point..you're right but let him say so you just listen to your music why sould you care for this bieber guy?only by this comments he has become famous:S if you check in every rock-metal even punk video there is at least a comment talking about bieber..so it would be much much better if hmmm there wasn't any!

  • @MrGreenRockk the year who died?

  • @MrGreenRockk died in 94. so yeeah.

  • @ISISISISISISISISI because you chose to be.

  • @ISISISISISISISISI I was born in 1998!!!!!

  • @ISISISISISISISISI worse...I was born in 1994. a few months after. so we were never even on the earth together.

  • Kurt didn't finalize lots of lyrics and titles until it was time to record the songs. And based on what he says at the beginning, he might not have even started calling this one Immodium yet. Either way, we all know this is an early version of Breed, and so that's why I called it Breed.

  • @wade7677 stiill a mint song innit

  • @wade7677 Yeah. I can believe that. He hated writing lyrics. The lyrics are less important in my opinion concerning Nirvana. It's the killer riffs that he came up with that will last forever.

  • imodium is a heartburn/indigestion medicine in england, the song was named after nirvana did a european tour with tad and tad doyle used to throw up everyday n take immodium to settle his stomach, cool fuckin song dude!!!!!!!!

  • @ak2689 that would be motilium ;)

  • @theherminator1989 nah its immodium dude

  • this is 100% immodium couse it is different lyrics

  • inmodium?

  • I'm pretty sure that this song was still named "Immodium"when they played this gig.

  • what cobain says at the begining this song is called.... ?

  • ? different lyrics?^^ in the verse...dont know..mh sounds nice^^

  • nirvana was in linz :O

    i live in linz ^^

  • even if you have , even if you need ♪ , Kurt is very creative and confuse ;DD

  • Comment removed

  • That says Kurt in 0:38?

  • @maxgrunge pogo

  • @maxgrunge mother

  • whoever says that this drums intro was terrible,YES IT IS..i admit it..But,Chad just refine the intro with a long powerful snare drums on Demo version..Then Dave came in,dave just have to copy it on Nevermind with his style..FACT..

  • what the hell does he say the name of the song is at the beginning lol ,dont think he says " breed"

  • de verdad q Kurt disfruto esta gira .....

  • That's you you do it kids!

  • this was the best fuckin concert ever this is priceless they played like 5 of my fav songs these ppl dnt know what the hell their watchin

  • the best and first version

  • he's not wearing a janitor uniform its a 50's style shirt, and dave grohl isnt on drums its chad channing, and yeah they got dave grohl because he hits hard and it put power into the sound, and sound is all about flow and mixture and how solid the hit is especially on drums,.

  • @mr12342009 Dave also has perfect timing, the dude had a metronome in his head lol, which makes it all that easier to know when to come in when you're playing.

  • EPIC.

  • feliz cumple kurt

  • it's Tad Doyle, from "TAD"

  • leyendds

  • somebody knows what is the black

t-shirt with scary face hang in the background? love it!

  • I think it's Frank Black from the Pixies. Not sure.

  • thank you!

  • @miguelannn

    Perhaps Tad Doyle?

  • @HomingMissiles

    thanks!

  • its tad.

  • @veronicadajani

    thank you!

  • @miguelannn the T-shirt was a Tad band logo...

  • @miguelannn founder of the sub pop label,Jonathan poneman.

  • this song is called ....

my english is so so xd

  • i never understood the idea of "selling out." by sell out do you mean every show you sell out, standing room only? or are you going around telling everyone this band and that band sold out simply because your band sucks and can't make good $ off your sound?

  • no sweety selling out means like if ur one thing like punk, and ur label told u people would like it if u were more poppy and you agreed to change ur style to make more money or for people to like you

  • i can see your point. HOwever, in some cases it's not selling out so much as the band getting better at what they do. For example, the Beatles sound changed dramatically throughout the years. Not because they sold out but because they simply got better.

  • Good Times, good times.

  • nc giutar.. what guitar is?

  • I can't believe Nirvana made it that long under the radar... unbelievably amazing concert. I bet those people talk about that night all the time to their friends, family and now kids. Lucky bastards...

  • i miss you kirt = (

  • it's imodium ;)

  • this isn't breed, its what became breed later on

  • 20 years ago this week

  • that was a terrible drum intro

  • Chad Channing, commited a crime, and was trown in jail, later Dave stepped into Nirvana, and imo he pounded the skins way harder then chad

  • exactly, how hard you hit the drums has nothing to do with how good you are. Of course dave could do a lot more than just hit the drums hard, that was just part of his personal style and thats the style of drumming Kurt wanted as a part of his band, but thats not why he was a great drummer. he could keep time and do interesting fills as well, and could play many different styles.

Chad's style just wasn't what Nirvana were looking for for for the their newer stuff after Bleach.

  • @PieceofMindmusic I thought that was Dale Crover

  • At heart, Kurt Cobain was a punk rock musician. He didn't want to be mainstream, he didn't want to be famous, he just wanted to play loud music and make weird paintings.

  • if he didnt want to be famous, why did he get a major deal? you dont get famous by accident.

  • Its a big conflict in muscians heads we want to be able to eat and have people hear our music on a large scale but we dont want to sell out our sound to the companies and we want our private lives but when offered usually a musician takes the contract out of curiosity excitement and the readiness to take their carrer to the next level and also selling out is far different than signing a major label contract green day sold out by going emo and changing their sound nirvana didnt they kept the same

  • I'm of the opinion that he didn't know what famous would mean. Plus, people don't go crazy over Thurston Moore the way they did over Kurt Cobain, and Sonic Youth was on a major label way before Nirvana.

  • Ok these lucky Austrians had the chance to taste Nevermind two years before the release...

  • This verion is different from the recorded version on Nevermind

  • chad trashed kurts car and thats when he was kicked from the band

  • lies. chad just wasn't good enough live. that's it.

  • i don't think they fired him exactly they kind of parted ways as kurt and krist felt that chads style didn't fit in with the style

  • yea chad was tooo sloppy, kurt was already sloppy they needed a tight drummer to push everything together

  • chad was not sloppy they just didn't think he was the right style for the band.

AND KURT WAS DEFINITELY NOT SLOPPY

  • kurt was sloppy, its whst made it awesome

  • hes sloppy, but hes a good kind of sloppy. to be a grunge musician u need have that kinda sloppiness.

  • Too say Kurt wasn't sloppy is a lie.

It was a good sloppy though.

  • pogo!!

  • Between 0:37 and 0:39

  • Rockin!!!!!

  • omg... love it

  • single coil pickups sound great when you force alot of fuzz on them,i love that guitar kurt has here

  • cool i love this show TAD opened for them too

  • is that chad channing drumming. it isn't dave grohl. they had like a lot of drummers. maybe 4 b4 dave grohl

  • is he wearing his old janitors uniform?

  • @TheMwalk ha! good eye

  • I like the rhythmic feel in this earlier version, I also like the guitar texture also.

  • what did kurt say the song was called at the beginning? he called it something other than breed...

  • the name before breed was immodium
