Witness consciousness is not about body, mind or field of experience. It is, to quote Adi Da, the "mere witness of attention itself." - not even the observer. As long as there is still an "I' there is no realization. Adi Da often talked about how people that served Ramana were unconcerned with their own growth - that is the ideal devotee.

thank you Sandra for discussing Adi Da. How I wish there were more real dsicussions about Him and how He has interfered with others in order to help them to realise, to Awaken. How do you compare with the stages?  Are you in fact 7th Stage? it would be lovely to hear from you.
