This is a game, so you shall not be so far away as a sniper, get closer so you can use motion mines so your team will see the location of enemies, then use your scoop to mark so many you can before you shot them, and your team can provide you with ammo and med packs when needed. And get away from the bullet rain while you reload :-)

For some reason recon weapons glitch out sometimes when I'm playing coop. Last time it happened I unloaded a clip of .50 cal's into a bot at about 25 feet, three were head shots. All it did was knock him off balance a bit. After that I called in a mortar strike that destroyed everything around him but it still didn't kill him.

I still play CoD4 competitively, and seeing as how they are more or less exactly the same game (except for MW2's generally worse players, gigantic hacker population, and lack of dedicated server support; as well as new weapons that operate exactly the same as those in the original MW, save for the new models and textures) I should do just fine. 3 recons? WTF?? Even I've played with all 4 of us each class. I was assault, provided ammo, medic did his job and so did the others. When the tank was almost "dead" I jumped in took the gun covered the mechanic, medic watched my back and provided health for the mechanic, and Recon spot for us to take out the enemies. Then when the mechanic was done I gave him back his tank and went back to my job.. Thats proper squad work, and those people werent my "friends" just random people, with no mics.

Yeah these arent just short crappy missions like cod, these are long, and some of them have multiple objectives to get done, and if you don't get vehicles it can take awhile to move through the map while defending yourself.

lol i always use sniper class but i play like a assault , i kill everyone go and plant the bomb+C4 and run and safe it with my gol or m24 , and if im defender i plant a movement ball on the mobile station and if my ball tell me that enemys are detected i gonna kill them , but i admit the other guys here i hate it if im attacker and 3/4 people are snipers and im the only one who plant a bomb , fuck off they can snipe as a defender

I dont get why snipers are so hated in multi. I have prevented the bomb from being defused multiple times when my teammates were dead with a sniper rifle. And i always spot, then shoot if possible..
