This is one of the most underdog shows in the DC Comics universe aside from Isis who was animated with the Freedom Force. Filmation could have survived if Shazam and Isis had their own animated shows as well as their live-action shows from the 70's.

I always loved the character of Captain Marvel, but was always annoyed when hearing how DC "acquired" the character from Fawcett via lawsuit over "infingement" over copyright issues regarding Superman.

After all, Aquaman came a year after Sub-Mariner, and yet they weren't accuesed of "infringement" by Timely/Marvel.

Interesting how the original S.H.A.Z.A.M. references were based off of Egyptian gods/lore. Yet in the opening credits of this show they say Zeus, Mercury & other Greek gods which totally slaps the entire franchise in the face if you ask me. I've only played DCUO two weeks but the lore is pretty damn specific, Isis yea....clearly Greek..
