  • they are 4 inches, the size of the globe. there are several size globes available I make a test pattern for them before cutting the actual photo. good luck.

  • What size is the picture or that you put in your ornaments? It looks like yours is the perfect size.

  • wAS ABLE TO PRINT 1ST ONE OUT FINE,BUT WOULD NOT BRING UP THE OTHER ONE WITH MY DAD ON IT,MAYBE YOU COULD RESEND IT AGAIN I SURE APPRECIATE THE HELP,AND DON'T KNOW HOW YOU DID IT,BUT DON'T WANT TO BE A BOTHER,I AM GOING TO POST MY SISTERS PHOTO ON FACEBOOK SO YOU CAN SEE THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR HELP

  • hope i got the right one ,i scrolled down, and saw crafts,so i went for it,but i am the only louise cartwright from Manchester,Ga.profile pic. with my 2 handsome Sons Thanks again for all your help

  • I am on facebook [,louise cartwright ] will put a few there Thanks so much

  • @TheWeesie2 could you send me a friend request, i didn know which Louise you are and there are several-sorry-Carolyn Wainscott

  • you are too good to be true, not sure how to send them, and don't want to be a bother to you if i can't send on line possibly could mail them to you, quite a few,so you may not want to bother with them,i''ll try to send e-mail.and see if i can Thanks so very much ,you are wonderful

  • @TheWeesie2 you can scan and email or if you are on facebook, I may be able to grab them off there. I can put some together in the same photo. Let's try a few in email first and go from there.

  • Thanks a lot,i didn't come out near that good, and 3 boxes broken when they arrived, shipping was so high i didn't even bother to return

  • I am going to keep trying different things, these are so easy, the globes are so fragile, and easy to break, and pretty expensive, but when you lay a piece of white paper behind the transparancy film it shows up great,do you use a certain type of globes, and transparancy film thanks for your help

  • @TheWeesie2 Hobby Lobby globes when they are 50% off or with online coupon to get 40 to 50% off a box of 4. that only makes them about 50 cents each globe. Are you rolling the photo to get it in the globe, I haven't had that much trouble with them breaking. Royal Brite transparencies are the best. i got them at Sam's a long time ago on sale and got several. The matte finish side gets the print. I get 4 photos per sheet..

  • @TheWeesie2 how many do you want to make your sister? I know you said she is ill, why don't you send me your photos and let me see if I can work with them for you? I'll try to set them up and email them back to you so you can print them off the correct size and if that doesn't work, I'll print them and send to you. I don't usually do this but I know this must frustrating for you and I would love for them to be wonderful for her. My email is quiltngrin@hotmail.com

  • Thanks so much for your help, you have helped a great deal,I am a Granny too, Trying to make some of these Ornaments for a sister of mine, whose health is not good, they are just not very clear, almost have to hold them where there is no glare, but you have been a great deal of help thanks so much

  • @TheWeesie2 a lot depends on the photo and how clear and colorful it is but I have gotten good results with some older photos also. I got a white Christmas tree to put mine on just in case I got all done I want. they look best on white. These are probably the most liked of any gift I have given. Will your software let you add more color?

  • i had a time getting thr right size,is it possible to let me know what soft ware you used

  • @TheWeesie2 sorry you are having so much trouble-I use LivePix- had for years, works with xp but not compatible with Windows 7. I set the canvas size to size of globe- usually 4" , I got Photoshop but couldn't adjust, just keep using old software. Had to find a rebuilt laptop with xp, I am an old granny, not young computer geek and have to keep things simple but your software should allow you to set canvas size. Will help you in any way I can-good luck, and thanks for watching

  • I LIKE THIS IT IS SO EASY,BUT MY PHOTOS DOESN'T SHOW UP AS CLEARLY AS YOURS DO,USE JET PRINT PRINTER,AND TRASPARANCY PAPER,BUT NOT AS CLEAR,ANY SUGGESTIONS

  • @TheWeesie2 The software editing that I use lets me add more color but I don't remember if I had to do that with this photo of Maizin or not. It also has an automatic correction that I can use. The photo was a really good one. I use my Lexmark since that is compatible with the software-HP is not for some reason. Also, use transparency with a kind of brushed or matte finish on one side that grips the color more than smooth side. Hope this helps, if not let me know. thanks for watching

  • I am so glad you like this. They have been one of the most popular things I have made.

  • What a great Christmas gift!! Thanks for sharing such a clever idea
