i think you should try some of her older songs which are amazing and not the crap she "writes" now, i think they would suit you better, it's not that you are awful singing it i mean even avril sucks singing this song live… she barely sounds decent when she uses a whole bunch of effects and in the premiere she mixed between playback and some live vocals… as you can see i've lost all my respect for her but don't let anybody bring you down you can do whatever you set your mind into!
