@mrt724 - Thanks for the compliment. Most of the images you refer to were taken at f 3.5 and f3.2. When I use the Nikon 70 to 200 mm f 2,8 lens, I'll set the focal length anywhere between that range.
I really like the 200mm range at f. 3.2 or 2.8. Notice how it really knocks the background out of focus. And at full zoom the closer you are to the subject and more the background is out of focus.
When I want to show more of the background setting I'll back off of the zoom.
