Unicorn isn't really like a sidestory, I guess, but it was a novel series that takes place after the Neo Zeon war in Char's Counterattack. Sunrise announced that it is being animated, so half of my wish is coming true. :)

Blue Destiny was released after 08th MS Team, and I believe it was meant to be an offshoot, but I haven't read it, so I don't know for sure.

Nah, Amuro is gone after Counterattack. Some dude by the name of Barnarge Lynx pilots it. I haven't read the novel series, so I know nothing else. :P

Crossbone's not a sidestory. it's set some years after the events of F91. Seabook from F91 is still an ace pilot in Crossbone. The main character in Crossbone is someone else however.

sidestories are events that happened during the events of the main anime.

ones I can think of...War In the Pocket, 08th ms team, BD, and Seed Astray, and whole bunch of Gundam 00 sidestory. MS Igloo is a sidestory series too.

It would be an OVA at best but...yeah.

The English manga is not hard to find but only covers the first two events (Yuu and friends running into Blue Destiny Unit 1 and then him Using it to fight Nimbus in the Efreet Kai) but does not cover the Battle between BDU 2 and 3.

I believe the Japanese Manga ver. does but I need to buy it.

Nah, the JP version only covers up to that far, too. The magazine it was running in was canceled before it could cover the rest of the plot.

Shame, too, I'd love for us non-Japanese fans to get the full Blue Destiny story one of these days!
