look at the automotive industry.inner city or outer city had nothing to do with poverty.you buy from overseas the jobs are overseas.look at the banks they invest overseas .not in inner cities, follow the money .attest to that !
I agree with everything said here, but my suggestion to johnebii is to refrain from talking about broken government programs while driving his car. It could lead to road rage. Yes, it is unfortunate when self-anointed liberals put benevolent intentions ahead of actual outcomes. Capitalism is based on the ignoble pursuit of self-interest, yet it achieves positive outcomes for the vast majority of people in society. Which is more important, intentions or outcomes? Outcomes, obviously!
agreed. i will try to cut it out with the videos while driving but many times this is the only free time i have and some good thinking time at that so i can't promise anything there.
johnebii - I noticed your tags include references to Ludwig von Mises, Friedrich A. von Hayek, and Thomas Sowell. If this is a representative sample of your reading list, then you truly have a passion for protecting liberty. I bet Milton Friedman and Ayn Rand's books are sitting on your shelf, as well. Per Hayek, in "The Road to Serfdom," your videos should be dedicated, "To the Socialists of All Parties."
The more you give to someone, the less they do for themselves.
