Yes I have a tattoo as do many other Christians I know but I also have an amazing and loving relationship with God. Our God who is merciful, loving, caring, kind, and forgiving. The problem with Christianity is there are to many judgmental, self-righteous, condemning people and that is NOT what the Christian faith is about. Yes turning your life over to God is about a life style change but God knew that there may be times that we fall which is the reason for Jesus coming to die for our sins. Tattoo, adultery, lying, anger, etc are all sins

We put those things in God's hands and allow him to deal with them, we need to be the love of God.. Teaching people his true love not condemning them for something they have done in their past. It saddens me that many Christians still do not get that and turn people away from the love of God because of their self-righeous and condemning attitudes. @TheCovenantministry I can honestly say that more people without tattoos haven't helped me where as those with tattoos have had a resounding impact on my life, they are often less judgemental too.

That Corinthians verse doesn't talk about tattoos, a tattoo can be used to preach the gospel and leviticus is a book of the old testament which is part of the Jewish law, the Torah, it doesn't apply to Christians just like how we don't circumcise our newborns anymore.

@zgerd1 well its all a matter of personal conviction. for instance i dont see anything wrong with tattoos because in the bible where it says not to do it He was giving comands to the Israelites. if u look three verses back it says not to shave ur beard or wear clothes made out of more than cloth. so wearing jeans with spandex and denim in them would be sinful. i personally hav no problems with tattoos cuz of that but others will disagree
