@vrz07 Although Chitral is a tribal area, compared to Pashtuns, Chitralis are less worried about women being outside, or talking to strangers. Pashtuns live high in the moutnains and are always at war, so women are rearely seen. Chitralis mostly live in valleys and lived relatively in peace for a large poriton of their history.
@auzer1000 there used to be a lot of infrastructure that simply vanished in the deadliest earthquake and now they are carving out a whole new Karakoram Highway along the old Silk Route and there are several other smaller projects going on I dont know how much that will help these people but it will for sure
