Always loved the concept of Eve Online. However, for me anyway, it simply became too tedious unless I was willing to log on almost daily and be part of a large corp.
@lerokz I used a Yamaha Motif XF6 to play out the basic track. And I imported it into Cubase 5 to track it out. All the patches (Sounds) are generated from the Yamaha keyboard. And all the songs I have uploaded to youtube are created in the same manner. I also use Cubase as my primary tool for laying down vocals.
@Rooker0075 Yea I think that was the goal. Players at that time where fired up. Things seem to have calmed down. But those where a crazy few days as an eve player.
@OperationDx1 I'm googling around reading about this RMT bullshit they've pulled. That is really despicable.
I've got a 32mil sp character sitting in a hangar somewhere with a few bil ISK that I always intended to reactivate at some point. If they're letting people buy game-breaking stuff with real money, then Rooker can sit in that hangar forever. I used to go to war with ISK farmers. Now CCP is the ISK farmer, if I'm reading all this stuff right.
@Rooker0075 I agree. CCP has reassured us that no game braking advantages will be available through the nex store. I have currently have 3 toons in EVE and I would be upset to see something like this happen. The thing I'm most worried about is the ability to purchase skill points. I had to spend 2 years getting to where I am now and would be upset if someone could just pay to win. Note: They have no plans for this. In any case EvE is still my favorite MMO.
@FatfighterXD1 A "pay to win" system would mean that if you had enough RL income you would be able to buy ships and modules far superior to that of what can be bought with in-game money. In EVE the consequences for everything you do have an in-game result. For instance if you lose a ship it is gone forever, including all of its modules and rigs. If they were to introduce a "Pay to win" mechanic, those people with extra RL money would be able to dominate the people who dont.
@stpidfatkidatwork In the description on the video I explain part of what upset the players. But basically the Incarna patch introduced a microtransaction system into EVE online. Followed by a leaked internal newsletter that was very disrespectful to the players. On top of this many where worried about a possible pay to win system to follow. CCP had promised to never do something like a pay to win system. And EVE online players don't want to see the game ruined.
Link to music in description?

I haven't played Eve in a few years. What's the point of attacking the statue? Lag out the node or something?
