Friend of mine collided with an 18 wheeler head on at 70mph in her 99 Camry...took them two hours to get her out of the car, and she had to have several bones below the waist replaced with rods/pins...but she lived, and no head injuries or internal organ damage.

this test is misleading with injuries....they need to re-do the test with the windows up because lets face it....how often do you cruise down the road with all 4 windows down?..the glass would affect the injuries on you as well....REDO THE TEST PLZ!

@misterbear1984 If you notice on all the Institute of Highway Safety tests, all of the windows are down. Since it is tempered glass it seems fair to say the glass would have minimal effect on injury save some minor cuts.
