My only problem with this rally is that so many turn it into an anti-liberal protest. Thats why, despite my Catholic heritage, I will never go. I would be very out of my element.
i agree that abortion is a bad, but dont these people know they will get so much more credibility and respect if they dont back it with religious rhetoric?? i mean these marches just make more people pro abortion it seems like
so I go to the Catholic University of America, and I was just watching this and saw that you guys walked right by us!! LOL I think it's so cool how one (really important) issue can bring people from all different backgrounds all over the country together.
Hope to see you there again next year!! (unless Obama/abortion-supporters have a change of heart, which would be wonderful...keep praying!)
Hey! i dont know why i didnt pay attention to the part where the girls sang a song from the movie Evita (whitch i didnt see) ... I'm from Argentina!! thanks girl, that was great!... do it again! haha!.... I prayed for this too! Never Silence Life!! Never!! ... Blessings!
I'm cracking up because my brother was there, and the videos he took matches up exactly with yours. The national anthem, the really loud pastor's speech...hehehe
THank you so much for posting this and raising your voices! It is so important now more than ever that we need to stand up for what's right and choose life!
"\Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob."--Deuteronomy 30:19-20
Ok I understand that this is good. But Why were those people READING their testimonies? It hurts the credibility! It's like making a killer confess reading his thought out of paper. I'm serious how is anyone gonna believe a person that instead of saying things is reading things? Non believers will tell you that you were paid to read it out loud -.-
Maybe.....but i think they were reading it to encourage others, who are silent and show that abortion is a problem in our society. Reading them was confessing, but Jesus told us to confess our sins and the first story had a happy ending, she changed and now helps other women. The people probably chose to read them, i mean no one knew they had an abortion, it was a deep, dark secret to the person, so no one would've known to bribe them.
The Bible has scripture that says 'NO ABORTION'-The "Oath" that doctors take to practice medicine and promote health To All says 'NO ABORTION'. What has happened to the U.S.A.?

It's funny they talk of Freedom of Speech and yet they appear in a counter culture video, but then again that is the true about Christians. Only favoring curtian veiw points and standing to quash even the expression of any that oppose. Sorry girls that not Freedom of Speech, that's a theocracy of but then again that's what you want is a theocratic nationalism of America.
Wait, I think My comment was a little more panned across that I wanted. I DON'T agree with abortion at ALL! I was more angry with the barlow girls and the prospect of religion in general at the time. I wasn't talking about abortion I was talking about them.
Im just wondering, but wil there b n e more concerts? oh and by the way, u guys sounded GREAT at the 2009 Life Awards, I loved Becca and Lyssa's new guitars, Becca, u sounded great, wot sort of guitar do you have?

I wish musicians wouldn't be so biased. I'm a BarlowGirl fan, and, I found it a little awkward to know that they're pro-life. I'm not trying to start anything (For God's sake, i'm pro-choice), but, it just makes it odd knowing. Oh well.
you're for the murder of innocent babies..how can you not expect awkwardness? the Bible is strongly pro-life. its also very convicting and thats why so many people refuse to accept it as truth(it makes them feel guilty). but logically thinking, it doesnt matter how bad it makes you feel, because truth is truth. if a train is coming at you, and you believe its not going to hit you, it'll still hit you. read Exodus 21:22-23, Romans 13:4, Deuteronomy 28:15. protect those who cant protect themselves

I just said I supported abortions. Way to jump to conclusions.
I grew up in an almost-catholic family.
Why am I pro-choice? I'm tokophobic. I'm anti-sex. So, i'm not going to go off and get pregnant, and demand an abortion. No, that's stupid. I'll only ask for one if I get raped. If I do anything willingly, and get pregnant, will YOU be adopting my child?
First of all abortion is murder. Im assuming by "i just said i supported abortions" youre trying to contradict what i said about supporting the murder of innocent babies, but I can't really tell, b/c this whole comment makes no sense. what am i being hypocritical about? why would i adopt ur child? there are PLENTY of people that would love to adopt it and what am i jumping to conclusions about? btw, if u get raped, the only person u should kill is the rapist. whats the baby did to deserve death?
go barlowgirl. at church we had a talk about abortion and it was really sad what our teachers had to share. awesome how barlowgirl is able to be there and film it, then post it to youtube..giving us a message!

That's totally awesome girls! I did a day of silence at my school for protest to prove that if I had been an aborted child my voice wouldn't matter. It got a lot of people's attention. It was cool.

And also, I beleve there are a few (very few) situations where abortion must be an option, but only if medically and legally approved.

Nightshift1000:
"standing to quash even the expression of any that oppose"
they are opposing murder of defenseless babies. i'm pretty sure everybody opposes murder, unless they themselves are murderers
"Sorry girls that not Freedom of Speech"
in what way is it not? standing up and speaking out for something you believe in is the exact definition of freedom of speech.
I'm positive that not everyone there was Christian, just standing up for what they themselves believe to be right.
