@bassandcarguy219 only the traxxas tmaxx 2.5 came with reverse as standard but there discontinued but u can buy used ones on ebay if u want something with reverse put the reverse gear on yourself and u can do that on almost any nitro car :)

Ive got this truck, after a year its fine. but then the everything starts breaking so its like 40% of the time is driving and 60% is wasted on fixing it... sick and tired of it...

i have just bought the exact car and am having troubles tuning it. i cant even get it to idle for more than 20 seconds. what are your needles set at? and ur idle too? cheers

Increase your idle speed, find the idle speed screw on the carb and twist it slightly so that the little valve that you can see when you take the air filter off never closes more than 1mm when you hit the brakes. or a quicker, temporary way to sort it would be to mess with the trim on the tx i suppose

@runi92~ did u have trouble with your engine when it was new??

I have the "bazooka" buggy with the same engine, and it just WILL NOT stay running!!

The longest i could get it to idle (rev below clutch engagement) was like 10 seconds, and then it doesnt want to start for a while. Iv messed around with the low-end needle adjustment, but it doesnt really seem to help that much.

Hey if you take off the are filter an brop some full in ther an den it vill start. check that 'the battery is fully chargedon the car and the remote controler. and check that the sparking plugg is ok. then it shjud start =)
