Dear Thorralf: Thank you for posting this for the people that are interested in the music.I'm going to take a workshop in a month. Your information is very useful for me. I would like to ask you some questions: 1. do we need to have the long stick in the spoons?. 2. Is this a different shape from the normal wooden spoons? Have a nice week.
It depends on your origin. To turkish people the shape is very common. Medieval wooden spoons from Germany i.e. are too thick... You have to look for wooden spoons with thin handles... The stick (better handle) should have a size of 15-20cm... normal wooden spoons from Turkey so to speak ;)
duuuuuuudeeeee that was fricken awsome im gonna buy some turkish spoons right now i can easily get some from turkish spoon mart p,s dont you shower you lazy bum
I was looking for some information about "Keklik" dance (a turkish one that you dance with spoons ;-) and I've found your video! You did a great job and so helpfull, thanks for posted it.
