Hich Kas, sometimes referred to as the President of Iranian hiphop, dominates the scene as not only the pioneer of the latest generation of rap artists, but a singular voice against contemporary social issues facing youth in Tehran.
Cultures of Resistance teamed up with Hich Kas to produce this track and video to expose some of the diversity of Iranian culture not shown in western media and to invite people to take another look at Iran and its people.

First, about the music and lyric, even though I don't like rap as much as rock or classic, but Hichkas is one of the best rappers in iran, and his lyrics are usually better that other rappers.
Second, about the flag! I think he means his nationality by the flag, anyway, do you expect him to show you a "shir o khorshid" flag? why? do we want a king to come back? you decide!
Third, I think he will fight if a war occurs, and I think the most important part of his songs is warning the imperialism!

I don't hate America...this song isn't literally about hating or killing anyone...it's about uniting these youth who are growing up in tough times and letting them know they're not alone in their struggles. At least that's how I interpret it.

the government prior to the islamic republic was far from democratic. It's all british petroleums fault. There was in fact a rebellion against the shah, but it was put down by the Islamic clerics.

I am getting my degree in Western which is a university in Canada and my best friend is an exchange student from Detroit ... u shouldn't believe everything u see on CNN...
