A good promo, yes. But not a patch on the promo's of the Attitude era. Anybody who calls this 'the best promo ever' obviously started watching wrestling after 2005. Also, Foley is great here but not even SLIGHTLY at his best.

Watch his promos as Cactus Jack in ECW (namely the 'Cane Dewey' promo) and you really will see one of the best promos of all time.

There was always a happiness in Foley's eyes. Whether he was sitting down at commentary, or getting his head bashed in with a chair. He was always surprisingly happy. And it's that kind of "happiness" that people like Edge try to portray or recreate. However, unlike Foley, people like Edge don't draw the crowd into their insanity. They act it out well enough, but it doesn't go deeper than that.

When Edge does an aerial spear off a ladder to another opponent who's on another ladder then I'm sure the Bump is greater because of the height . Goldbergs ground spear though is more devastating because he dives his shoulder into your gut at full speed combined with all his weight. Edge does more of a run then stop and hug the abdomen take-down. The impact of both spears is absorbed by the back at about the same height bump wise.
