You enter a complete labyrinth of an underground tunnel system... shit happens, the music, the overall creepyness, the good graphics give you a fucked up feeling. Especially when you enter that tunnel, you pass that door and suddenly you hear that beeping sound and your camera goes all the way back to this psy monster..

trust me if you were playing this level segment in the dark alone ud crap

@killgoth2445 I've played both those games and although stalker is probably the most flawed considering glitches and some gameplay aspects, it also has scarier moments(not as many scary moments) but just the kind of mindfucks i haven't gotten since i was kid playing resident evil and silent hill where afterword you need to pause the game and gather yourself.

Guys that enemy is called "Mind controller" I had a mod all information of everything "even artifacts but now its deleted and i deleted from my computer for accident I remember three things bout it:"Found from northern zone, Stalkers are afraid attack them, They have big head." its so easy, just strafe left or right behind the wall with the door everytime the beeping starts. he cant do nothing against it. once the beeping is over, pop out and hit the fucker with your rifle. continue until hes dead, easy as pie.

looks a wee bit repetitive, whats actually happening? you get a high beep, then that thing is there while it isnt a millisecond before in clear space, then its away again.

looks like an alternate dimension thing and with the constant feepzoominzoomout it looks VERY unelegant

@hammse2 The enemy does a weird psychic attack designed to disorientated you as well as do damage. By basically robbing you of control for a few moments (with that weird zoom thing), it is far more frightening for the helpless player than a casual viewer. Saying that, I didn't find it scary. It becomes a joke when you realize it is powerless to stop you banzai charging it with a knife.

I remember this bit. Its the first time you meet one of those. My experience was different from what you see in this clip. I was halfway through the tunnel when I suddenly heard a gut-wrenching howl behind me. I turned around and the fucking thing was right there. When it started swinging at me I screamed like a girl :P

This scene was pretty scary the first time around and is still creepy, but the second underground lab to me is a great deal more scary.

The way I dealt with this one was to rush him with the gravi powered shotgun. The other one you face (Not saying where to avoid spoilers. Or how many you face.) I dealt using grenade launcher +strafing. You could do that here to. For some reason shooting it with a grenade launcher causes it to get confused sometimes. Also you can kill him easy at close range but you have to be quick because his psi emissions will kill you like radiation or standing in fire.

You god brainwashed mate. The fight with that mind controlled is very easy. Just hide, pop up and shoot and right before he cast a mind control on you, you hide again and then you pop up and shoot again untill he die. It is sooooo easy. I even killed it on the last difficulty. :D

It's SOC. Just with a mod. This is in the tunnels under Aprogrom. Personally, this is NOT the scariest scene. I was expecting something in that tunnel, really. There were some other scenes that made me wig the fuck out, like in the actual power plant. The voice was too eerie. Other things got me to scream like a little girl out of not expecting it, but let's not get into that.

When i played this scene (in stalker without mods) on the hardest level i just run half way of the tunnel forward and threw 2 grenades and rushed back. when that punk comes out he steps on grenades and dies. grenades must be dropped right in the spot where he stops.
