Glynnis Johns only wears shoes in the very first scene. She then gets her assignment and embarks on her journey unshod. She seems very comfortable as a barefooter and probably thought it helped her with the element of stealth. One of her tricks is to sneak behind her enemies and hit them on hte head with a club.
