You looked very hesitant i fell and broke my foot at a feis but got something because before i fell i was jumping high...it wasnt my fault thought it was a slidy floor
FYI, I'm an adult Irish dancer. I suppose the "that's horrible" has to do with most of the comments made, because you realize it. That being said, your movements are quite smooth and elegant. I agree with what has been said and I also noticed a few times when you were't really crossed such as on your point and point and after the spins. How long have you been dancing and what school do you dance with?
hi, i've been irish dancing for about 1 1/2 years. I am part of The Rhythm of Irland out of VA Beach. Don't let the video fool you. We actually have some really good dancers! ;) If you watch what I say as soon as I finish dancing, you will see me mouth the words "That's horrible", hence the title. There is something very humbling about watching yourself on video for the first time. haha! But I love the dance & have met some of the nicest people through the school. How about you?
dont be afraid to fall... it looks like you trying realy realy hard not to but dont worry about it there is enough traction on your shoes get out there and instead of blending in at a feis say "HEY LOOK AT ME JUDGE IM DANCING HERE TOO!"
if anything point your toes more nd kick your butt! and put a little more life into it! you looks very graceful though :D
