If they are kept happy, i.e. helping out the poor more often, then the middle class (along with the poor) will be be pleased with the government. Not everyone can make $50 million a year like Rush. Some people live in shitty conditions and it's not their fault. Best example, the folks who had their livelihoods ruined by the Gulf oil spill. Fisherman who can't fish, valuable tourism dollars no where to be seen... There was poverty in that area before, just wait and see what happens now.
