Very Nice bike. My SS80 is a 1961 too. I bought it in in a sorry state last year and i have just got it back on the road for the first time in 30 years. I noticed the correct six point Star decals on the oil tank of your bike. Are they originals or replacements? I could do with a pair if you know were they are available. Thanks. ( I posted this comment on your other video too.)
My first new bike and in blue with that "sports saddle" which had to be changed after a few weeks as it went all one sided!!. Front mudguard broke in half after a few weeks also. I did go into the side of a car once around my village going at least 35mph, no protective gear at all and got away without a scratch, bike was bent though!!. It did struggle to go more than 65mph and was changed for a 1967 Tiger 100 which was a good bike and it is still registered somewhere today!
wow l rode one of these back in 1971 ....if BKO 8C is still about please let me know
