Of course WoW runs smooth. Have you taken a close observation of the graphics in that game? The Polygon count is laughable. Look at the way parts of say flying mounts move. Or perhaps just take a close look at your own characters. If you look past the color blends that hide it you can practically see every polygon used. WoW was great but it's age is starting to show horribly. But it is rumored that blizzard IS working on a new MMO so who knows whats up next.

in a sense, i agree. the engine is better although from what i have seen in youtube, WoW just runs smoother. alot of MMO's have a hard time competing with WoW's smooth gameplay because blizzard rakes in tons of cash to pay for shit like that. assuming AION doesn't lose interest and can gain enough funding, it can probably give WoW a run for its money.

Like Vmember said the game still pretty much new there arnt any expansion and NCsoft usualy dont charge for there expansions for these types of games.. Like Lineage 2 had a lot of expansions to the game but u didnt have to keep buying them it was just a major update.. not sure if aion will be like that as well tho.
