All that shit is cult following & brainwash. Take an artist, and put a piece of blank paper in front of them. It's just a blank piece of paper, until you put lines on it. Just like life. Life is that blank piece of paper, and everyone is an artist. Most want to plagiarize, some want to innovate. But its true nature is a blank piece of paper. In other words, it's all b.s. and people believe what they identify with the most. "what do you call someone elses religion? A myth"
I believe in rationality. Morality hinders us. "Murder is wrong" and yet we cheer when the US kills innocent women and children in piss poor countries just to kill the enemy.
Well, I can live with this response. I won't claim to be the most religious person, but I have a belief in a higher power. I also believe in science. The two can actually coexist. Scientific history can actually support each other if taken from certain standpoints. A lot of what the Bible covers as history is also covered in Sumerian history, albeit in its own unique form. It is what it is, and all I care for is the truth.
if there is a god he shouldn't & wouldn't want to be worshiped. only an evil entity wants to be worshiped. reminds me of a star trek movie can't remember which one, but kirk says this to alien entity pretending to be god "what does god, need with a starship?"
the Christians on here are the type i can tolerate. Let people believe what they want, but don't force it upon me. Even though atheism isn't a belief, a distinction that has to be made.
I don't have religion. I have a relationship with Jesus. I get that you are an athiest and you don't believe. I have a lot of friends and like them I am willing to agree to disagree with you because I do like your videos and I think you have a lot of good insight into the world of wrestling and sports . Thank you for being the bigger man and apoligizing. Your the man keep up the good work.
@Netsdawg1 You have a relationship with a fictional character, constructed by an organized cult, with blind faith as its baseline, not logic and reason. That is RELIGION.
@RockAustinDXtakerRk0 yea and he can believe whatever he wants its his right. this is the annoying thing about atheists they bitch about christains imposing their beliefs onto others but the first time they see somebody mention they believe in god they are right there on the attack its fucking Hypocrisy at its finest.
@imfiasco I have NO problem with people wanting to believe in Santa, so long as their consent isn't derived from blind faith. Something which cannot be dis/proven MOTIVATES someone to live. While this is ok, to a small degree, it's extremely dangerous. If everyone was motivated by thin air, instead of being skeptical, we'd still be keeping away from the edges of the Earth, so we wouldn't fall off.......
@RockAustinDXtakerRk0 How do I have a relationship with a fictional Character was Jesus Christ not a real person? How is he fictional when people spoke to him and he is in history books as a living person. So by your logic Abraham Lincoln was a fictional character as well? Atheists are so funny to me if a man in a white coat told you to stick a dildo up your ass to crap a golden egg you would but follow what the greatest book ever written teachings is ridiculous.
@RockAustinDXtakerRk0 You do realise there is more evidence for Jesus than some famous Historical people? But it's a good thing you don't doubt his existence.
@TheOliver105 If any evidence, it's vague. Very, very vague. For all I care, there most likely would've been a man named Jesus. But, he wasn't the Son of God. Just a mortal man. Religion has no authority in the 21st Century.
@RockAustinDXtakerRk0 Yes that was my point. The son of god thing is a theological matter but my point was there was a man called Jesus just like the Bible describes him. E.g. A carpenter, Jew, Crucified and so on. His miracles and resurrection are for Theists (Mostly Christians) to believe. I don't know of any serious scholar who believes Jesus didn't exist.
@RockAustinDXtakerRk0 Epic Fail? not so much. It being the greatest book ever writen can not be denied no book has had a greater impact on history hense greatest book ever. I know yo prefere athiests for dummys writen by Richard Dawkins.
@RockAustinDXtakerRk0 Actually, Jesus is covered in higher level history courses. And not from a religious standpoint. From a scientific standpoint. It is accepted within the historical community that Jesus of Nazareth existed. Perhaps not from the Bible standpoint, but that the man existed.
@PCarrier61 No, the existence of a man named Jesus has not been scientifically proven. Creationists can swerve facts however they wish to. This is not a universally accepted fact (not even vaguely) by the scientific community.
Did a man named Jesus exist? Most likely.
Was he Dumbledore and the Son of God? No. I'd bet my life on it.
As for Science and the bible co-existing; how so? Have you even read your bible?
I'm a Christian, but I respect other people's opinions and beliefs. I don't like the fact that religion can make a person kill themselves or someone else. Also, I hope that the possible solar flare misses us and I also very much hope that you're right and the world won't end this year. You're awesome and I really like you no matter what.
Thing is... I'm a Christian but I am very conflicted about it. I believe some of it and yet no matter how hard I try, I don't see the logic in some of its teachings. I really don't know what to make of it now but I can't tell my family and Christian friends because they might all flip out on me.
Dude i was raised in a christian household and still have faith but i wouldn't consider myself a religious person. In all honesty, it feels great to believe in a higher power. I motivates me to get up every morning and face the world. While i don't agree with everything that you said, I respect that you gave an intelligent view on this sort of thing. Religion is one of those manmade creations that has seemed to cause more harm than good for humanity for centuries.
@cimurr The fact that something, which cannot be dis/proven, "motivates" you every morning is a scary thought........I understand the sensation you must feel towards the concept of Life in itself, and how you go about doing things, but try to build an interest in seeking nothing, but, the truth. Ask yourself questions. Go out and find rational, logical, well-thought out and debated answers, morals and ideologies. Be a skeptic.
the fact that some people got upset over your views about religion just goes to show how we aren't as people ready to talk about religion respectfully atleast not yet.
Damn it. Money is the biggest religion of all. 30.000 people die every day because of money! Not a lack of ressources. THAT is a fucking problem. Please talk about the Zeitgeist movement and the Venus project!
I really wasn't offended by your comments and I'm a big fan. I just don't think you know what you're talking about when talking about religion and life, lol.
If they can have there beliefs you can have yours, everyone has the right to believe and think how and what they want, people might not like it but hey thats the way it is
I have so much respect for you, for changing peoples opinions about John Cena. He works so damn hard, and deserves so much more respect, not just for his work, but for his commitment to the WWE.
Stone Cold, The Rock, Hulk Hogan... What do they all have in common? They are all icons, but have all left the company at one point. 3 in Hogans case... So to all the smarks, who think they know everything about wrestling just because they were like 5, during the Attitude Era - Give they guy more Credit
Apology accepted! Don't worry I wasn't offended by any of your comments as I have been studying religions for about a year now so I know what to expect from critics.
Like I said before, I enjoy watching your videos and one video will not stop me from watching your videos.
Once again, I subscribed to you to listen to you talk about wrestling. :) Just because we share different ideologies when it comes to religion does not mean a damn thing to me. Yes, I am a Christian, but I am not going to get on anyone for what they believe.
Goodmicwork, I really enjoy listening to you because you seem to be a realest, straight shooter and a unbiased voice here on YouTube, I can't tell you how much I appreciate someone who speaks with logic as well as passion.....Thank God that you exist, lol....No pun intended!!!
I'm somebody that believes in God and has faith, but I wouldn't say I'm a religious person bc I don't read the bible every day. @Unrattled I think the kind of people that you dislike are "proselyters". The term is defined as someone who forces their beliefs unto others and I find it repulsive. I believe in showing your faith by living your life, but hey, to each his own right?
Gr8 commentary as always dude, can't wait for that 2012 rant ps i posted a Q on ur channel page - I think it would be very entertaining if u talked about it.
