Great job on the review Bob. I think I am hearing a bit of resentment out here from people who spent a lot of money on an IPhone that has been stuck on the worst network in history. There are many video comparisons of these to phones including the Quadrant tests. and the Fascinate is just faster at both loading identical web pages and you tube videos . The resolution is a little better on the IPhone but the Super AMOLED is more vibrant and shows true black not grey. Fully customizable too.

You know, to do a completely fair speed test of the *phones themselves, not the 3G speed, you should probably connect to wifi to establish an even connection.

Professor?! Be a little more modest .. there's too many variables in your analysis.. A true analysis would involve eliminating as many variables as possible to reach the most accurate results possible.. a verizon page might load faster on a verizon 3g network...

How the joystick on the incredible?

@Gmod10man The joystick worked well for me when I had to navigate around a form with various fields. Otherwise, I prefer a touchscreen for navigation. However, different people have different preferences in this regard... your best bet is to try it and see if it works with your style.

But I don't consider it to be fair, its not loading the same page, nor the same video(quality), and the fact that the HTC took its time opening a google search, which is empty compare to the other, makes me thing that if they wher both opening the same page, the HTC would have been even more slower.

the reason the samsung was so dim was beacause Samsung added a separate brightness setting in the browser, so the galaxy s phones are usually at only 20% brightness in the browser, you need to change it manually.

@Tacokid195 Thanks for stopping by! We used the phones the way they were set right out of the box, which is probably the way many people will use them. There is always going to be a lot of variables for something like this, including adjustments.
