lol I'm racing a friends RC car with my RC helicopter...because mines made for inside flying I've had modify mine a bit my adding some weight to the front...will it work...well I'll to race and find out xD
i did nt think they were so fast those heicopters i had one but crashed real bad now got a twiister the next size up i cant fly yet cause its to powerfull i crashed it as well
I found that stability is the same unless you stick really hard or too fast, but that is normal I guess. For the most part however, if you become unstable and center your stick, you recover faster.
what i had noticed is that you can change the yaw via the lwr swash linkage on the pre drilled plate on the servos to create faster speeds(obviously More Avdanced piloting needed). however; this makes the lower rotor bow more so a shaft outer and inner needs to be fabbed very cool in the end tho
Yes sir! In fact, both shafts have to be perfect, because you can actually make the heli flip upside down in this configuration if you stick too hard and too fast. If either of the shafts vibrate it is near impossible to trim, much less stay stable.
My heli servo arm controls is set on hole 3 (more than you need). You will need to shorten your flybar by 1" on each side, or any slight over control will cause and flybar >> blade strikes.
Racing, you start at around 6+' sticks FULL UP-DO NOT TURN. Race on hot asphalt and a head wind for grounding effect. *REMEMBER* the heli falls out of the sky at more than 300' line of sight.
Haven't been able to fly it outside yet. Bad weather here. It is a really good helicopter though. I have all the aluminum upgrades on mine, which does make it a little better.
I put the costs in the comments to remind myself to 'fly better', but I have crashed and repaired this heli so many times that I actually had enough spare parts to fix the BCX2 without making a trip to the hobby store!
wtf i wanted to see body blading

Surprised me how fast the heli went.
Too bad the videographer forgot how to zoom ;-)

the car needs to be tuned, when revs to go down after 3 second means the car is runing lean, it def needs more air
vosolokoviteh 3 years ago
more air would just make it leaner...

infomatic ... i have a question : when you cut the flybar 1 inch each side the cx2 are less stable or it the same??
thanks!

Just in my experiences.

haha nice i got a blade cx2 and also a nice street nitro car every one needs toys no matter how old you are

ha, rich kids.
DaddyDog42 4 years ago
Oh no. We are adults now, buying toys we really wanted as kids.
infomatic 4 years ago
i will second that and this particular heli costs less then a "rich kids" x-box 360, ps3, or a Wi.
antipolesmoker 4 years ago
how do you make it go so fast? min is really slow.
And i thought the blades were only $1 each.

I have a few videos of this helicopter on my page. It is very easy to fly, but it's no toy.
jasmine2501 4 years ago
I learned that in wide areas (no walls) that it is really stable and actually does stay in one place (with no wind and proper trimming) in a hover.
Plus, landing on a DVD box outside while there is a nice breeze makes it easier and a whole lot more fun.
infomatic 4 years ago
I wouldn't know :)

I'll make one with everything that was upgraded and why--and what I would do differently next time.

Nice and very funny race. Were you able to repair the poor BCX2? Did you need a new inner and outer shaft?
