If you guys can try to sort fact from fiction while trying to find logic in what the mormon religion teaches, then you won't get anywhere. The mormon missionaries invite all to read the Book of Mormon and pray with full intent and desire to know if it is true or not. If you have your anwser from God, then thats all the matters, and all doubt will be resolved. Mormons don't soley believe in the religion based off of historical evidence. They "obsess" and believe because God told them it's true.
