Good Job heres a tip, use a lot less reverb, lower your mic a bit more, put your pinky on the pop filter and come closer till you touch your thumb stay that far away, use a slow clean compression on your vocal, again reduce reverb and try to record somewhere where there is not echo's slapping off the walls, like a walk in closet, :D Good Job Keep going at it!!

@85011 The 'black circle' is just a pop filter. I think the difference you're hearing is this guy obviously added a bit of reverb, etc after recording.

is it an omni microphone, does it pick sound from all directions?

Hi. It's a cardiod. It picks up most signals from the front of the mic. and it is only cardiod unlike the Samson C03u where you have 3 settings

Hi There. Tnx for viewing. Try to lower the gain/volume of the mic to reduce the ambient noise it may pick up to make the vocals a lot clearer. To add effect just use any DAW software to add the effects to your recorded vocal track.
