The war between the Arabs and Israelis is not a war of religion. When it dawns on you that the Palestinian people were ethnically cleansed from their homes, and had their land stolen from them, and occupied for more than 40 years, perhaps then you'll make an intelligent comment.

As for Islam and violence, if your source is the film the obsession then I'm not surprised by your conclusions. Any real seeker of truth will first make sure that his/her references are as broadbased and unbiased.

If you paid attention to the title of the movie, you'd have noticed an added adjective which you have conveniently chose to forget. The word you missed was "Radical".

A question for you on the basis of the film:

Is Radical Islam based on an orthodox or progressive/revisionist interpretation of Islam?

Also, why did the US support and coninue to support "Islamist" movements?
