As for Islam and violence, if your source is the film the obsession then I'm not surprised by your conclusions. Any real seeker of truth will first make sure that his/her references are as broadbased and unbiased.

Is Radical Islam based on an orthodox or progressive/revisionist interpretation of Islam?
Also, why did the US support and coninue to support "Islamist" movements?
