  • i drove 530 miles today and im pretty tired lol, what kinda a over the road truck driver are you that you are tired, every 200 miles you get out and stretch u drive 3 hours and take a break LOL what a bumm, i drive 350 miles on way to my stop unload my trailer and drive straight back, lol you stop after 200 mies, no wonder you dont make anymoney

  • @polishadam28 Or you could think of it this way, if eveyone works like a slave, they will continue to get slave wages. If 800. loads keep bidding out for $700.,$600.$500. because people cook the books and run their asses off,"well I'll haul 2- $500.00 loads today" then trucking will continue it's down hill slide untill only mexicans can afford to haul in the U.S.. Your just burning fuel and wearing out your truck so brokers can make money. The 1k goes back into fuel and repairs.

  • @ihop54 what do i care hwmuch fuel i burn??? when its not my truck im a company driver

  • Hope you make some more videos once in a while, at least. :)

  • do u ever run in cananda??

  • It amazes me how anyone can run the east coast. I'll take the 11 western every day. Just gimme the desert and a 75mph speed limit, and I'm happy. :-)

  • I'm starting truck driving school on Monday. These you've made have made me even more excited. I can't wait to get on the road!

  • The secret of catching flies...vacuum.

  • Hey Vince, when you're out driving does you dispatcher actually have the rest stops set up for you fuel wise? or when you get low are you left to find them on your own?

  • Thumbs up if you think VINCE IS #$%^%$& AWESOME!

  • Hey Vince...I have to say love your videos

  • This is gay, whats with the tecno music

  • Hey Vince...I have to say love your videos. While in Truactor trailer school i watched all your videos...in the middle of going to school I was confident i wanted to go OTR for the experience....I found out me and my girl we were having a baby! iam really excited that my soon to be son will be here. Hope you post more of your videos soon!!! God Bless Josh Merry Christmas Vince.

  • Trucking is a never ending nightmare and a dream come true all at once. What you have shown us here is just a fraction of the hardships that professional drivers must endure while on the road. You have shown that despite all of the obstacles that present themselves in the process of delivering a load, there are still some drivers who choose to remain in the industry out of pure love for this kind of work. Thank you.

  • Your doing great Vince but what's with the polo's?! Lol

  • vince you would make a great trainer for new people coming into trucking because of your patience, and your positive attitude. Even when all of us truckers have our bad days. Good video vince keep em coming....

  • well done vince. I just watched all of your videos to gain perspective on becoming an OTR pilot. Thanks so much for showing me the REAL. What school did you tend to and is your company always looking for drivers? Perhaps you can help get me started?

  • I'm a 4 wheeler that loves to drive the country in my conversion van. I have to tell you you really knocked it out of the park with your videos. Good luck

  • Lemmon Pledge works good taking bugs off the paint/chrome. Enjoyed teh videos.

  • @configured hate to bust ur bubble but you said lemon pledge works good on paint and chrom but i think he was spraying the window so where would lemon pledge be useful there?

  • @Protrucker24 Food for thought is all. In Florida we have "lovebugs" and if you don't get them off your paint, they will eat into the paint and chrome. They can be hard to get off. I will spray down the windshield just before I wash the vehicle. IF they are on the wind shield than they are on the paint. If you haven't heard of lovebugs, you can search lovebugs in florida.

  • @configured lol lovebugs making love to the paint of trucks. i never heard of that but last time we use lemon pledge was for wood grain lol.

  • ok people give this a thumbs of if youve watched these videos more then once and still loved this.

  • Good vids Vince, nice for a newbie to watch, and think of a job in the trucking industry!

  • I love your job.

  • Hey Vince love the videos you have done,me and my mate are thinking of trucking in Canada and USA,maybe you could do a beginners guide video to trucking in the USA,for us Brits.

  • Hi Vince. I am a freight forwarder in Polish. I know the driver works on the other hand, though I have the same entitlement on a truck and I would gladly drive in America, but to get to your country, even to work as a driver is impossible. difficult. I'll have to rely only on your experience as a driver. I look forward to more films. Hi.

  • Vince, just watched ALL 19 videos. Job well done. I'm a Lead Security Officer for PEPCO (Potomac Electric Power Company) and I have nothing but respect for all truck drivers. Working the night shift there 1030pm to 630 am I see a lot of truckers, not just the ones delivering for my company but others delivering and picking up in the area that might need assistance. Feels great to help out. Well, good luck to ya, wish you the very best out there on the road. God Bless.

  • Mate im watching your video's from australia, and I love them. They provide a great insight into your life and your journey on the road. Im currently doing my 3 day HR course and i'll be finished on wednesday (hopefully with a pass) but thanks for posting up entertaining videos. Cheers!

  • True Professional Right Here! I am liking your videos!

  • You make trucking look fun.

  • where did this fruit go?

  • Hello i'm 14, and it's my dream profession :)

  • What make is your truck?

  • Vince, your videos are great. My wife and I enjoyed all 19 very much. You seem like a stand-up guy. I hope the very best for you. We hope that you will decide to make more of these. Be safe.

  • Dude, you should buy yourself a good quality travel mug. I picked one up at the TA in Greenland, NH and my coffee stays hot and fresh!

  • very nice vedeo's vince! you are a strong man, keep on trucking!

    regards from Romania,Europa!

  • I have over 10 years class B experience,,just now going to School to get Class A,,,any advice?,,and thank you for the videos

  • Just watched all 19. The intro is so good I thought this was a TV series. Great job on the videos. How do you keep a great attitude is such a hard job with so many frustrations. I mean you were smiling about cleaning bugs of the windshield even! What was your career before trucking?

  • Loved your videos, heres an unusual question, Do you get many Irish or english speaking europeans moving to the US to take up this lifestyle?

Ive been researching and I see Canada have a large demand for drivers but does the US experience simular problems? Cheers and best of luck on the roads!

  • what do you do to avoid clots? Do you take baby aspirin?

  • Hi Vince, Exellent trucking videos best for showing what trucking in U.S.A. is real like, I really do appreciate all the effort and time you take to do these videos, it would be good if you could do a video on weigh in station, trailer hookup and fill out of log book. be safe keep on trucking.

  • Give this comment a nice thumb's up if you watched from ''Trucker's Life Part 1'' all the way thru to ''Trucker's Life Part 19'' in 1 day.

  • @BigBoyO56 I did...

  • @robertjohnson487 That is about as far from the truth as possible. I have had many students with prior excellent careers who just wanted the freedom that comes with the job.

  • Hi Vince. I'm enjoying watching the videos here in Ireland. You are very good driver. Can you tell me about your truck? What make is it? Horsepower? Miles per gallon? Is it reliable? Finally, have you ever driven an European brand such as Volvo or Scania?

  • i love ur vids its like watching a vlog

  • i like watching your show Vince and do you ever haul like flatbeds and just like weird loads and whats your companys name and try to show your load more and make more videos

  • @knorslien34 COMMENT FAIL

  • I watched all 19 of your videos are really liked them, keep on posting more

  • @CanadianCharlie64 look at the video update....

  • Does anyone have an idea who he drives for? Is it Stevens?

  • @PAUL8FAN43 I think many companies have policies against using their names in video like this. It could open up a liability case against the company somehow. Welcome to America!

  • hello great, great video question i am studying my self to get the cdl permit and go to do private lesson in a school cant wait keep up the good work

  • Really enjoy the series. Just found it and watched all 19 - looking forward to 20! What does the G.O.A.L in your mirrors stand for? Thanks and appreciate the effort you put into these videos.

  • @utecar1 G.O.A.L. stands for get out, and look

  • @utecar1 G.O.A.L stands for Get Out And Look before you back up.

  • Ha, ha, ha!!! I`ve always had the same problem with finding lids for my coffie. They always figure out a new, diffrent pace to put them at diffrent truck stops.

  • Vince after reading all your comments, kind of sorry to sound like a broken record and repeat what everybody else types about when is the next video coming out. Keep up the good work man, we all appreciate what you do, because I know it takes time to do what you do and also doing these videos. So thank you very much !!!

  • ONE TIME WHEN DRIVING FROM new york to california i fell asleep on the counter in a truckstop. Did you ever go to LITTLE AMERICA in Wyoming? If not I would suggest it.

I am a rubber tramp waiting to retire so i can get back on the road.

  • You know I've been considering a career in Trucking despite the fact that I'm what I'd like to consider an intellectual guy.

What is interesting is that I looked into a couple trucking schools and even talked to a few truckers. That was a major turn off. But watching Vince here has kinda turned that back around.

    Good job Vince.

  • @VegasGuy1975 COMMENT FAIL

  • @robertjohnson487 Again another troll. You are what others call a Life Fail. That means you have no real life, so you spend your worthless time making negative comments about other people. In short...you are a Douche bag.

  • The best trucking videos ever! Good work Vince :-)

  • Great videos Vince Keep up the great work. Got a question how do you balance your personal life with being a otr truck driver I have been a turkey farmer for the last 23 years and am looking for a change before its to late with being 42 years old. I have always wanted to drive truck it has been a dream of mine since I was a kid any suggestions how to balance them.

  • @34sassybeagle Farmers and truckers are too dumb to do anything worthwhile with their lives.

  • keep those vids rollin Vince, Love your series here, it really does need to be featured on the Discovery Channel or something, i guarantee it would be a hit. hell if you had a "series box set" i'd buy it. great editing, great filimg, great angles, great capture of the American Long Haul lifestyle. stay safe out there, and keep that rig shiney side up.

  • Your videos are good and getting better. They bring back fond memories. Especially like shots out the front of your tractor day and night. Looking forward to the next one.

  • Your videos are good and getting better. They bring back fond memories. Especially like shots out the front of your tractor day and night. Looking forward to the next one.

  • this guy seems nice and peaceful...i like his attitude..keep trucking

  • when is the next video??

  • I'm kicked back here in the bunk watching your videos. You make me want to come out of retirement. You do a great job of showing what "REAL" trucking is like. Your a huge asset to the trucking industry! Take care Vince.

  • @Whitelinefilms Thanks for the comment steve it is much appreciated.

  • @journey95 dont you love sleeping in your truck?! i do. so cozy.

  • @journey95 You live?

  • @Whitelinefilms Truckers are a nuisance and hazard and should be banned from public roads.

  • Hey Vince, I've heard alot about trucking and how its changed over the years. If you had to go back in time, would you still choose to be an OTR truck driver?

  • What kind of plans do you have for your Kenworth? I really enjoy your videos, if you have xm radio you should check out ch171 Road Dog Trucking radio. I enjoy seeing all those trucks on the highway and see all the different customizations that they did to their trucks. Keep on truckin.

  • Another Great Video, Vince

You drive daily a great many miles. Here in Europe 500 miles per day are enough. Those are 10 hours drive afterwards 11 hours of break. , more are forbidden. Your videos please me, then I can see America.

    Greeting from Austria, Wolfgang

  • I've been thinking of going into expedited trucking. I can imagine how interesting driving around the country can be. Even with all the regulations like the HOS rules and so on. I've noticed most of your vids show you in the eastern U.S. Do you ever venture into Colorado or even the West Coast?

  • Great video Vince! Thank you for sharing your work with us!

  • hi Vince. another excellent part in your series. thats funny you mentioned the coffee lids, i also have to hunt sometimes. lol. gets frustrating. take care be safe.

  • you have really one of the best trucking videos here .... i´m a otr driver in europe, but i´m very interested in the american trucking industry! keep on trucking

  • @truckingK thanks for the comment

  • @truckingK Truckers are just to dumb to do anything worthwhile with their lives, that is why they drive trucks.

  • @robertjohnson487 I have a Masters in Russian Literature from NCState, and I've been a truck driver for 4 years. I enjoy the simple lifestyle and adventure...

Not all truckers are smelly, fat, messes; Some of us just enjoy the life. I would appreciate it if the public (you) wouldnt make sweeping generalizations about other peoples career choices.

  • @puppet6475II I quess that would be considered a dedicated run here in the states

  • @slimmon2000 yes bugs can be a pain take care

  • Vince

    How are you my friend

I have waited for the video a very long time man

  • Amazing video yet again vince. Your videos make me want to leave trucking in the u.k and drive over in the u.s 5 stars

  • Vince - You do such a great job with these videos I'd like to speak with you about making some breif safety videos (1 to 2 minutes) each. Let me know if you would like to discuss.

  • Once again - the best!!!!

  • When it comes to making trucking videos, you do it right! Subscribed!

Yes, the flies can be annoying. I sometimes try to open the window thinking they'll fly out, but they never do.

I can't wait to get back on the road. Safe travels!

  • @stevem1264 Thanks for comment

  • Hi Vince! I just noticed that you are left-handed, like me! For me, being left handed gives me coniptions, I have trouble staying organized w/ paperwork, and my left hand blocks the little overhead light, so sometimes, I make errors on my logs.

I am finally back to driving, too. Just like in any job, there are good days, and not so good days. Sometimes, you are sailing down the highway, without a care in the world, and the next day can be a real struggle. God Bless, and stay safe out there!

  • @NJKatwoman Thanks take care

  • Another great video! yeah those flies are a pest..and those ever hard to find coffee cup lids are hard to find..you ever see 2 or 3 drivers about to run into each other looking for those lids..que the Benny Hill Theme..Lol..Stay safe,Vince

  • @Unclem360 LOL thanks

  • Great videos, thanks for taking the time to make them. Stay safe

  • Hey did they re pave that portion of 40 there in OKC? I remember it was about 5 miles of bad road

  • Wow, over 242,000 miles on your truck! You must have logged on some miles on it the past year!

  • @north5880 yes I ran some miles, drive safe

  • I looked for the song you listed at the end of the video on YouTube that you played in the background. Beautiful song that you chose to include in the background of the video, that Sylvian and Fripp song--it's very relaxing and ambient! It matched well to the night driving and scenes in the video.

  • @north5880 Thanks for the comment

  • @north5880 thanks

  • I like the night theme in this video where you film your truck driving at night on the interstate and at the truck stops. I think it's best to split it up to 180 to 200-mile stretches with the long distance driving. I even looked at the road atlas of the road you were on, especially the sign of the highway near I-40 and you were near Little Rock. Very convenient near the highway! And that Pilot truck stop was crowded with trucks!

  • Vince, thanks for the update. When I get my subscription updates from Youtube I always look for yours first. Your series is fantastic. Thats for taking the time to put these toether.

  • 530 miles, man I drove 680 tp 800 miles per day all the time..Not legally, but thats what I typically done, But then again, I was an owner operator too, had lotsa bills to pay....But I like this video, very good..Who you drive for?

  • GREAT VIDEO VINCE!!!! Glad to see another one of your pop up on my subscriptions page. Hope all is well bro! Take care!

    ~ATK

  • @bigredi444 thanks ATK

  • This is one of my favortie subscriptions. Thanks, keep up the hard work and your great attitude.

  • @ctown67 thanks

  • Vince, Thx. again for another awesome video, I live here in Little Rock, Arkansas and it is always neat to see where you have traveled right past my hometown. All of your hard work driving and making these videos is muchly appreciated !! Be careful out there !!!

  • @dupriest5 Thanks for the comment

  • Love your videos, keep them coming.

  • I finally figured out who you work for

  • Great vid again Vince... music, editing, everything. I'm looking forward to the next leg of your journey. Do you like your job?

  • Beautiful National Beef

You wonder where you picked up those flies?

Another great journey Vince. Thanks for taking the time to make these!

  • Hey Vince another awesome vid man. Keep them coming and keep the shiny side up.

  • great vid as usual vince! I got out to your neck of the woods last week, I drove from Boston, to Wilmington NC. For me getting down into southern Virginia and into North Carolina was great compaired to the northeast! 5*'S!!!!!!

  • Thanks for the upload, its a great birthday gift.

  • Hey Vince, yeah 200 miles would be like nearly 4 hours, which in the UK, then it is 4 and a half hours on duty then a compulsary break of 45 mins.

so it is tidy mileage to split at. I like the idea of the reverse footage if only you could reverse an 18 wheeler at 50 odd mph, and not get into serious trouble within a mile!!

keep up the good work Vince, I am enjoying this series.

  • @Shadwell06 thanks for the comment

  • Satelite Radio is a blessing too Vince.

  • I love your video's so much vince!!! Keep on posting them!

  • I noticed some new bugs on the windshield when you got fuel, ha ha. They just keep coming back... It´s always something, if it aint snow it´s bugs.

    Stay safe.

  • @CyberPassenger Hey Cyber you got that right.

  • Thanx again for a nice vid..... Really agree with you on the Flies, damn does things are anoying....

    Stay between the lines....

  • Hey Vince! The next good video. I added in my playlist too. greets from germany and stay save.

    By Marco

  • @Zwiebelauge Thanks Marco

  • Awesome video as usual Vince, thx for sharing! Thumbs Up!

    Drive safe! // Tomas

  • @hosatosa Hey Tomas thanks for the comment

  • Love it, Your video's rock, you should really put together a DVD of all your travels!

  • hey vince do you live in greensboro n.c.???????

  • Fly's suck ... video's rock!!!!
