This is from Eric Clapton's DvD @ Madison Square Garden 1999. It was his first concert for Crossroads (I think). I have the dvd but not with me right now, I wish someone upload it with high quality, this song amazing.

I bought the DVD on the advice from another Eric clapton fan. I actually fought tears when I heard this. Absolutely incredible song. Eric is brilliant with a glass slide!

Eric kills on slide here. He's quite good at that but no one ever gives him props for that.

I hate that they omitted many of the songs he played, like that with Sheryl on accordion that you can find here on youtube, but also pilgrim, Circus, My fathers eyes, If it makes you happy and a couple of other songs that didn't appear on the dvd. By they way the song with Sheryl on the accordion is on this playlist, on the right.

Love this version ! Eric on Slide guitar, the drumming and vocals make this a fantastic version. Don't judge it by the youtube Video, go buy the dvd and listen to it on a good quality stereo and you will fall in love with it.

@blisstobliss I'm not saying Eric Clapton is bad or anything, but I don't think he brought this allready great song to a whole new level. He's good, but didn't really add much in my humble opinion. But hey, thats just me.

with Eric Clapton. Also, look closely at the end of the video, you will see Miss Sheryl pat her

heart like this performance, of this particular song, at this moment with Mr. Clapton was really something

amazing and uniquie. Of course only Sheryl knows. ; )
