  • I know this is England...but where abouts?

  • Such a beautiful song and beautiful video to accompany it!

  • Seriously one of my favorite songs ever. Absolutely love Alison Krauss.

  • someone once said that when she sings the angels stop and take notes. that's not a bad pun either... take notes.

  • Is that Alison's twin driving at 0:37 and 1:57?

  • nice voice..this song is great

  • This is a nice song to listen to..i love allison krauss voice

  • Beautiful song...but just the guy with the bike will be able to go home...

  • @wdb4me I always thought the same. Well, I never thought, necessarily home, but he was always able to leave first.

  • i absolutly love that dress she is wearing.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @iloveremy123 So do I!! I'm not sure I would look as good in it as her though :)

  • @iloveremy123 looks like a Laura Ashley design, so Alison et al in Glasgow some 5 years ago, brilliant.

  • This might be the best 'Movin On' Song on Earth.

  • <3333

  • I cry just looking at Jerry Douglas. It's like I get enveloped in his world whenever I listen to him play. My ultimate dream would be to stand in the middle of those guys just to be around them. Alison is and always will be my inspiration in singing, and Jerry my idol. If only I could play with him once....

  • This is my fav song <3

  • Cant anybody just watch and enjoy a video? Get a life

  • @greenmillguy66 nope

  • This style is neither wholly bluegrass nor wholly country, so to argue it as either is ignorant. Most modern popular music is a fusion of two or more genres to create a unique sound. Even country and bluegrass are fusions themselves. Country came from fusions of rock and blues elements, and bluegrass originating out of folk-style music typically around the Appalachian regions. This song blends great country-style slide guitar and harmonies with angelic modern bluegrass vocal style. Beautful!

  • I love this song. It reminds me of my grandma and grandpa who both loved bluegrass. I miss them so much...

  • Bluegrass and Country use similar instruments, but so does more generalized acoustic rock music.

I'd say that country and bluegrass are separate enough to be in their own categories. Country music is most defined by its use of harmony, while bluegrass music weaves several different melodies into a coherent whole.

  • also, her voice is amazing

  • blurgrass is sub to nothing, it is of its own, if anything country is a sub category of bluegrass!! And this has to be one of my most favorite Krauss songs of all time

  • i just discovered this amazing voice today and cannot get enough. who would have thought i would fall in love with country like this? amazing woman.

  • Bluegrass, not country.

  • bluegrass is a sub-group of country. ;)

  • Real Bluegrass is nothing like Country. :)

  • well, i agree it does not sound like the common view of country, but the fact is that it is a sub-genre. ;) but i am in love with bluegrass, really, i am. thanks to this angelic voice.

  • hey, check out Sierra Hull & Highway 111! She just turned 18 and they already comparing her to Alison!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA that's funny. NOT!!!

  • what is?

  • it's great to hear a singer lose the fake hillbilly twang that dominates country music.....ayeeeeeee i'm so sick of it!!

  • Such a beautiful voice. Makes me very happy to hear Alison sing.

  • happy birthday alison 23/07/09

  • amazing musicians

  • Wow. Sometimes i wonder why i love this song so much and i cannot explain it. Maybe is her angelic voice or the banjo playing in the background but this song, at time i do not really know what it means, but somehow just listening to it i figure it out and apply it to something in my life. It lifts me up so much and i am thankful to hear something so beautiful

  • I AM THE SAME HER BEST

  • I don't hear any banjo. What I do hear are guitars and dobro - and that's beautiful, especially the dobro

  • I'm just glad some drunk in a big truck didn't drive through that intersection while they were filming the video. lol.

  • That must be the cross road that they sold their souls so that they could be the best band in the world.

  • WOW!

  • Beautiful.

  • Incredible song! Excellent video work! Nancy sings this so great. Almost as good as my friend MonkeylessJohn does!!!

  • Who the hell is Nancy? That's ALISON Krauss, man! Remember it!

  • I just think she's amazing, and Union Station does so well behind her. The song is among my very favorites. Just sad and hopeful and sweet and loving. Haunting and upbeat about the future.

  • I've never seen anyone that beautiful on a Greyhound.

  • fantastic song!! They're the best, no doubt

  • I also want to know where this was filmed...this song makes me so happy every time I listen to it.

  • this is an amazing song

  • Where was this filmed?

  • This such a beautifull song, the words are fantastic, anyone know who wrote this song...wonderfull xxx

  • My niece wrote it! Sarah Siskind... In fact, she's in the video on the bus at 1:35 right behind Alison...

  • Super stuff, ya should be very proud of her... well tell Sarah when ya see her that I (Gary MacSweeney) said this is one heck of a song esp the lyrics... wonderfull X 1,000,000

  • Amazing song! Beautiful lyrics and technical all at the same time! A challenge and a joy to sing. Tell her I said that. :)

  • As much as I love the stuff she did with Robert Plant, this is the kind of music she does best.
