if anyone's interested and in London: The Mediatech in the bfi on the southbank has the full show of the frost yippie / hippie Frost show. you can go in and book a viewing console. lots of old british films and tv programmes on there.
Yeah, and The Sex Pistols were supposed to be the big shocking "punks" on The Bill Grundy Show. Did Johnny Rotten and Co. ever see a broadcast of THIS?!

i thought hippies were black gays until i stumbled across this! now i realise they were dirty, but there's no need to be so rude to them just because they are gay!
Dude, I usually don't make replies to comments THAT stupid, but that was just one hell of a dumb ass statement you made. That's worthy of being spammed!
Please could someone re-upload the full clip from the actual broadcast itself? The one that starts with David Frost saying: "For $20 the following question." The aftermath to the guy dropping the c-bomb is downright hilarious.
I've got a copy on VHS tape somewhere. haven't played it for years though, so the quality might be bit ropey. Mick ain't actually in the documentary it's just based on his book of the same name if I remember rightly. I've got another Farren scripted documentary on videotape about horror movies I'll have to dig them both out.
What a fix. After the commercial break they moved to another studio which just happened to be all set up with cameras, lighting etc. Frostie knew full well it would be a great moment and planned it all.
Frost did know this was great TeeVee, and played up to it. I recognise some of the friends of rubin on the set, I believe there's Alan Marcuson of Frendz [Motherburger] who else?
No wonder the Skinheads used to kick seven shades of shit out of the pretentious, scruffy, middle class bastards!

i hate these sort of programmes.
you can't see or hear the clips for commentators telling you what you're watching/listening to.

To VSNROCKS: If it hadn't been hippies, it would have been some other youth movement. Face it man, we've ALL been responsible.

@VSNROCKS If it he was not for the hippies you would not be commenting across the net and for the whole world, they did Internet
