The first people to inhabit helghan did not survive the first colonization of the planet. In turn caused them to die from serious fatigue from the harsh enviroment. Interestingly enough Sev and the others survived the enviroment. Not to mention they did not lose their hair which is a definite sign of the mutation the Helghast experienced.

The mutations were probably a result of long term exposure to the atmosphere, and Sev, along with the other Vektan soldiers, were not on the planets surface for extended periods of time

Let's get into the science aspect of this. Soo the Helghast are suppose to be stronger faster and more resilient. Yet you are able to really hurt and kill them at close encounters. Chances are the remaining Vektans may have adapted to the eviroment if my theory is correct.

I liked Killzone 2, specially its bulkiness. It was more of a "you are carrying too much equipment" feel than the halo "jump till you touch the moon" kinda feel. I only hope the third one has more environments, and is larger (about 13-20 hours to complete if possible) and it will be awesome!

Nah, I disagree. It has clunky and stiff animations, some really embarrasing looking effects (like the smoke when you fire your gun, ughh) and the overall visuals feel very flat and unoriginal. It's like the most stereotypical shooter I've ever seen. Even the original had more character. And that's a really sad thing to say considering how bad it was.

What comes to FPS games, Killzone 2 raised the bar in visual design and atmosphere. It wasn't about texture quality but rather about many different filters that gave the world a dynamic feel. Many other shooters today feel really boring and flat compared to Killzone 2. Even Crysis 2 has the same problem, and it's supposed to be the best looking shooter ever.

If Killzone 3 makes the gameplay more dynamic and versatile, it may well be one of the best console shooters ever. At least I hope it will
