@farmer864 poulan use to be a great saw, when they downsized and started making things like tractors and weed-wackers, thats when they stopped making big comercial size saws. I have the original big-boy comercial poulans that are 27' years old and they still run fantastic for all the wood theyve cut. all i ever did was change the sparkplug, and the clutch once. when jonsered bought out poulan thats when they both went down the tubes. Also when they sold out to walmart and other big stors.
