  • I would recommend watching the whole program. Ive searched some here and was only able to find bits and pieces of it. I know that some of the images alone will stay with me for a very long time, if not forever. Ive ordered a copy and will be sending it to everyone I know. I still cant wrap my mind around the fact that this is allowed to happen in this country, our country. Someone needs to do something, we all need to do something.

  • sad! ;(

  • My cousin was born 3 months premature and just died at age 39.Sudden heart attack. This is an issue that affects every human being.I miss him.

  • Hi taraisastar,

We need to support the Global Poverty Act. Blocking it will not solve America's broken health care system.

The Global Poverty Act is very small. It is asking America to donate less than 1% of its income to save the lives of millions of people that are dying because they don't have access to $1 treatments.

America spends more on health care than other industrialized nations but badly neglects the poor because it lacks the features of a universal health care system.

  • A Continent, or a nation needs ORGANIC solutions, governments, not band aids from foreign nations. The money we provide is usualy solen by the bureacrats and diverted, for their own use, Usually COUPS ands weapons.

If we spent 1% on infant mortality here we would begin to enrich the chances of lowering the premie birth rate and sparing these children from suffering the affects of premature birth.I understand our plenty but do feel foreign countrys must find their own solutions,to own their way.

  • That is an argument to properly monitor the programs, not eliminate them.

UNICEF does have programs that are wiping out measles and saving many lives.

  • You aren't going to solve America's broken health care system by depriving people of lifesaving $1 treatments.

Please visit the congressional budget office web site and select Health. Our health care costs are skyrocketing and may overwhelm the entire federal budget.

Then google the article *Americans more likely to die of treatable illnesses

    despite high spending.*

We are spending an enormous amount but it isn't getting to the poor.

Letting Africans die will not change this.

  • The cbo projects that health care costs will take up 50% our budget in the future but the problems will continue.

Please visit my site for more information on the Global Poverty Act. America will not spend $1 to save the life of poor Africans. America will spend a huge amount at home but deprive African Americans anways.

The Global Poverty Act is your ally.

    Thanks,

    Scott

  • If Americans listened to Hillary Clinton in the '90s and adopted the CANADIAN Universal Health Care plan, this would be a shameful thing of the past!

Hillary is centuries ahead of Obamegalomaniac on this and doesn't have to steal anyone's policies!

Wake up! You missed a golden opportunity to elect a real leader whose priority was children's issues--the backbone of a sane, civilized society. The rest is just big boys in the playpens of obamyopia....

    Ah...Hillary...

  • We have the highest rate of prematurity of any industrialized country. That is apalling. Primarily related to poverty and the high cost of care in the private sector. This must change in the World's greatest country with some type of universal care.

  • In the ex-world greatest country, after all. China is wealthier pretty much every country is more intelligent. Many western country have none or barelly any poverty. Most country are ahead of you or close up to you in sciences. Yeah United states used to be a great nation. But Europe is catching up even Africa. So for awhile I'll say I'm from septentrional America.

  • Yeah everybody loves 'em babies-that is why nobama cannot be elected.

    10/10 fav and share.
