I think the instrumental version played by Andre Rieu & his orchestra is one of the best - just relax and enjoy the music, without lyrics (see on YouTube: Andre Rieu - Spanish eyes 2006).

@eureward You are a litle wrong.The song is indeed recorded in 1965 in the US by German/Austrian singer Freddy Quinn. Specialy made by Bert Kaempfert for him. Also sung in The Johny Carson show by Freddy Quinn. The recordcompanies didn't allow to bring out the song so in 1966 the song was recorded by Al Martino.
