  • How long did it take you for the wiring???

  • @FORDGUY016 Probably about 6 hours. Its a PITA to get the wires through the body panels and the wiring under the seat takes about 2 hours alone, soldering them all together but I enjoy it. :)

  • is it a very hard wiring job to hook them up?

  • @greenarcticcat400 not really. I did it when i knew nothing about wiring. I know have some more experience, but no, its not hard

  • what tires do u use? r they snow tires? How well do they perform?

  • @jmott07 I use the stock Carlisle tires supplied by BRP. They are decent, I need new ones this year though.

  • Hi zootoo, very nice job, what is the model of the with ones?

  • @changchung The blue ones on the front and side are Whelen TIR3's. The amber and blue ones on the rear are Whelen TIR6's, the white one in the front is a Whelen LIN4, and the round LED spot light on the back is a Sound Off Signal 500 lumen floodlight.

  • Oh..It looked like you had three control boxes.....Hard to see in the dark. So all your strobes are self contained units that you just send power too? Some set-ups have a small control box that you select the flash pattern. I got 2 of them that control 2 seperate strobes and would like to add 2 more to the rear sides like your set-up.

  • yes, just power to the leds...these are leds not strobes...

  • I know they are LED, the flash pattern is "strobe type" , that's why I said strobe. How much did the set-up cost yah. I'd love to do the Whelen self contained units. The one's I have have the small control boxes. Kind of a PITA to add extra led modules.

  • Nice setup. Did you splice the smaller side lights to the mains? Or three controllers? I like the set-up but I'd rather have one control box and splice the heads to flash in the correct side/front/rear sequence.

  • not sure i fully understand what your talking about? i have 3 switches. 1 for rear, 1 for front and side and one for the spot light and front white lin4...i dont have a control box??
