JJKF1: Champ Car and Irl did race together but about 5 years ago but tony george split the two leagues up and now they have both been gi=oin downhill. F U TONY GEORGE

actually the IRL was created in 1995 but starting in 2002 Champ Cars teams starting going over to the IRL when Penske and Gannisi started racing and the next year AGR joined them and Rahal the year after that.

Yep they started their "BIG Splitting time" in 1994 :) Next year IRL had their first season.
