Interesting. I thought that IBM was the developer of the 8 core cell chip technology, and that Sony was mainly providing the funds. Intel and AMD constantly push the boundaries in other areas of chip architecture moreso than Sony, a company that doesn't make it's own processors anyways. I don't see how nintendo is relevant, they are not pushing any boundaries. Neither is Toshiba. Sharp leads the world in new LCD technology, American companies have pushed consumer electronics a lot more.

Military Technology, America is at the top, Consumer Electronics, America, consumer electronics actually selling, and their application in the home in everyday life, America.
