Ryu is just overrated, whatever they give him they're always on his balls. high level play I doubt that'll be used unless it can be a anti-air.

Viper's new ultra deserves more credit, I think it's one of the best ones they added so far.

There is a lot of good to see ultras that has been added. Ryu is one of street fighters most popular figures and the story behind him is that he is practically the best so the story is kinda evolved around him with ken the co star.

The thing with Ryu ultra is that it was orginally his. in ssf4 hes been given it and it looks a hell of a lot better. Wid gouken the 1st punch is ooo. Thats it. wid Ryu. the 1st punch is solid & 2nd hit he holds it (power) He also hits Harder so its like ooooooo

1) Why does Juri scream so loud when shes defeated? Turn down the volumne on that shit.

2) Viper's ultra looks stupid, especially the second part.

3) The animation for Ryus ultra looks generally weird.

4) Why give ryu an ultra that gouken already has? yeah sure ryu originally had the move but i think it would have been better to give ryu an ultra hurricane kick instead like he did in the previous games.

According to the storyline, Ryu had Metsu Shoryuken in Alpha and later in 3rd Strike it becomes Shin Shoryuken.

@MomentsReprive According to the storyline the Metsu Shoryuken is a Satsui no Hadou technique and is the SRK Ryu used to defeat Sagat (and give him his scar) in SF1. It's a sliding elbow into an SRK in Alpha. They JUST made it look like the Shin SRK he gets in SF3. I think they should've kept it a Satsui move and made it look more brutal.

Even if they pressed a button before the attack, every other ultra would have done the same thing and gone through that attack.

So?Viper actual ultra can be juggle from her anti-air and doesn't requirer you to risk yourself in the air.Also the angle of the kick seem to narrow to be a good anti air.
